Porsha Williams Confirms She’s Dating a Woman After Messy Divorce from Simon Guobadia!

Porsha Williams has officially moved on.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 44, revealed she’s dating again just months after finalizing her divorce from Simon Guobadia — and confirmed she’s seeing both a man and a woman. Speaking at Culture Con in Brooklyn on October 5, Porsha told the crowd she’s “talking to two people” and has “narrowed it down” to them both.

“And he is nice and she is nice,” Porsha teased during the panel, marking the first time she’s ever publicly acknowledged a romantic relationship with a woman. Porsha’s new boo is Atlanta entrepreneur Patrice “Sway” McKinney, founder of Encore Salon Suites, the first Black-owned salon suite franchise.

Sway is a successful businesswoman with over a decade of experience as a master barber and stylist — and her brand now includes four locations and an online course helping others build profitable salon suite businesses.

A viral video recently showed Porsha introducing Sway to her RHOA castmates Phaedra Parks and Angela Oakley while filming Season 17 at the Run movie premiere — with Sway even spotted filming scenes for the upcoming season. The pair also follow each other on Instagram, with Porsha dropping several heart-eye and fire emojis under Sway’s posts.

At Culture Con, Porsha reflected on how dating has felt different this time around. “I really just wanted to make sure that these were normal people,” she said, admitting she’s struggled to adjust after leaving what she described as a “narcissistic” marriage.

“What I talked about with my therapist the other day was — I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists,” she explained. “Guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you, they look perfect, they mirror you. And these people are not.”

Porsha Williams added that both her new love interests are “challenging” her in ways that feel healthy. “They’re asking me questions, they’re not letting me walk over them,” she said. “If you want something different, you have to also be different. I have to soften up a bit.”

Porsha’s openness about exploring her sexuality follows a hint she dropped in a June interview with PEOPLE, when she joked, “When you go through a bad enough breakup, you’re like, ‘I don’t like nobody.’ I was sitting there like, ‘Do I like women enough? Can I get with a woman?’”
