Fans BOYCOTT ‘The Valley’ Over Jax Taylor’s Toxic Behavior—Ratings PLUMMET!

Jax Taylor is facing intense backlash from viewers of Bravo’s The Valley — and it’s beginning to show in the numbers. Fans are even launching boycotts of the show.

The controversy centers around Jax’s treatment of estranged wife Brittany Cartwright. He’s been accused of explosive behavior, including allegedly throwing a table and leaving Brittany with a “black and blue” knee, as well as allegedly spying on her through home surveillance footage.

“He’s dangerous. Narcissistic. I can’t even watch anymore,” one viewer wrote on X. “Bravo needs to stop giving men like this a platform.” Another fan added, “I used to love the messiness, but watching Jax manipulate Brittany is triggering. It’s not entertaining — it’s emotional abuse.”

While social media has erupted in criticism, insiders say Jax didn’t expect the fallout to be so severe.

“The fallout has been worse than [Jax] thought,” a source told The U.S. Sun. “I think he thought that if he prefaced this season by warning everyone his behavior was bad, he thought it would all be swept under the rug. That’s not the case. The cries to get him fired have been louder than he was prepared for.”

The insider added that the backlash has extended beyond the show: “It’s been a blow to his podcast, it’s impacted other business ventures he had in the works.” Despite the growing outrage, Bravo has yet to make a decision about Jax’s future on the series.

Bravo hears the outrage loud and clear, but there have been no talks to fire him yet,” the source noted. “Quite frankly, it would be a different show without Jax so producers are trying to figure out what the future of the show looks like and what’s best for everyone.”

Still, the possibility of his removal isn’t off the table. “Getting rid of Jax completely is not yet something they’re willing to do,” the insider continued. “[But] it’s not completely out of question for the future either.”

As fans continue to tune out and bloggers publicly vow to boycott The Valley, producers may soon be forced to make a difficult decision. The Valley airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
