‘Sister Wives’ One-On-One Part 4: Christine Brown Questions If Kody and Robyn Were Intimate Before Marriage
During Part 4 of the Sister Wives One-On-One, Kody Brown Reflects on Past Intimacy as Christine Brown Questions His Relationship With Robyn, “Just not to be trusted.”
Kody Brown’s past romances came under the microscope during the final installment of Sister Wives: One on One — and the conversation got uncomfortably personal.
During part four of the tell-all special, which aired Sunday, June 15, host Suki Krishna asked the Sister Wives patriarch whether he had “any other sexual experiences” before marrying his first wife, Meri Brown.
“There were other options that got close,” Kody, 56, admitted, recalling his high school days as an athlete. “I was a little bit wild, but I wasn’t. I was being Mormon naughty.”
When asked to explain what that meant, he clarified:
“It means I would kiss and hug, but no actual intercourse.”
Krishna likened his experiences to a baseball metaphor, quipping, “So that’s like first base, second base, third base, and no home run?” to which Kody agreed, “No home run.”
But things turned tense when Krishna pushed further.
“You know out of respect for my wife, I’m going to quit discussing this with you,” Kody said, visibly irritated. “You guys can act like it’s the world’s business.”
“We’re just having some fun,” Krishna replied.
“No, we just crossed the line so it’s done,” Kody stated, ending the conversation.
Meanwhile, ex-wife Christine Brown didn’t hold back when weighing in on Kody’s relationship with his fourth and only remaining wife, Robyn Brown. Christine — who left Kody in November 2021 — questioned whether Robyn and Kody may have had intimate moments before tying the knot.
“We’ve all seen their engagement photos and I just automatically think, huh, I wonder how close they got before they were married,” she said. When asked if she meant sex, she replied, “Sexual experience, whatever that means. And he was super comfortable in her house, even walking into her bedroom. That’s a lot of speculation.”
Pressed on whether she believed Robyn would have crossed that line, Christine remained unsure: “Well, I don’t know. That’s just automatically what I’m thinking.”
Christine then reflected on what the implications of a secret relationship might’ve meant for the family. “They lied about everything, so you know how close they were. The fact that he was always over there, come on. All they did was lie…Just not to be trusted,” she claimed.
When Krishna asked if it would have changed how Robyn was welcomed into the family, Christine replied, “If I had known that he had told her things that he never told me, I would just been more hurt… Who knows?”
“But that’s heartbreaking to hear now,” she added. “I’m not even married to him anymore. That’s like, what a slap in the face? Really? Come on… She’s better than you…Compare, compare, compare.”
Robyn, for her part, denied any such allegations and insisted their courtship was innocent.
“He didn’t kiss me until he asked me to marry him,” she said. “And it wasn’t a kiss, it was a stamp. You know, his face smashed mine. That was it, you know, it wasn’t anything super sexy.”
She recalled their engagement in Kody’s car: “We’re sitting in his little fun sports car ’cause he can’t live without him. And I said yes. And then he grabbed my face, went bam, like kiss me, bam.”
“It was like this is now a done deal,” Robyn continued. “We are engaged.”
When asked if there was “any naughtiness afterwards,” Robyn made it clear: “There were chase kisses, little church kisses. But yeah, that’s it.”
In response to Christine’s speculation about whether there was “more than just a kiss,” Robyn firmly stated, “Oh, no, no, no, nothing. Little church kisses. Something you can do in front of your pastor, your Bishop or something.”
