Ramona Singer Could Be Florida’s Next Politician — Source Says She’s ‘Seriously Considering’ a Run!

Ramona Singer may be done with The Real Housewives of New York City, but she’s not done chasing the spotlight. After spending more time in Florida—frequenting places like Mar-a-Lago and rubbing elbows with political influencers—the longtime Bravolebrity is reportedly eyeing a move into politics. And let’s just say, not everyone is thrilled.

According to a Palm Beach socialite who shared details via Substack, Ramona is “seriously considering a run for office.” The source added, “She’s been talking to conservative donors and wants to frame herself as a no-nonsense, straight-talking woman of the people. The problem is she’s Ramona.”

The 67-year-old has faced backlash in recent months, including criticism for a photo op with Daniel Penny, the Marine acquitted in the high-profile subway death of Jordan Neely.

A former Bravo producer told the outlet, “She’s doubling down because she sees it as her brand now. Controversy fuels her. She thinks this makes her relevant again.”

The source suggested Ramona’s political ambitions could be more than a fleeting thought. “She’s already got a base of followers, she’s wealthy, and she’s friends with a lot of conservative players. Don’t laugh — in Florida, that’s enough to land a seat.”

However, not everyone believes she’s fit for the job. “She’s the last person who should be representing anyone,” said a former Real Housewives of New York co-star. “She can’t even handle a reunion taping without storming off.”

Ramona’s past controversies—including accusations of racist behavior—continue to follow her, but some insiders claim she’s trying to reframe that narrative.

“She’s always believed she was ‘misunderstood.’ Now she’s spinning that into a political narrative: that she’s a truth-teller being silenced. It’s classic Ramona delusion — but it’s also dangerous,” added the source.

Ramona starred in all 13 seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City, from its 2008 premiere until its 2021 revamp. Whether she’s truly gearing up for a campaign—or just enjoying the attention—remains to be seen. But if she runs, one thing’s for sure: her candidacy will be as polarizing as her reality TV legacy.
