Apollo Nida BLASTS Phaedra Parks for Lying About Sherien Being His Mistress — Accuses Her of Brainwashing Fans!

Apollo Nida isn’t staying silent after his ex-wife, Phaedra Parks, made some pointed accusations during her short-lived run on Married to Medicine.

Phaedra, who is set to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 16, made headlines recently for her remarks about Apollo and his longtime partner, Sherien Almufti, during a green screen interview. Now, Apollo is clapping back on social media, setting the record straight from his side.

Phaedra Parks’ time on Married to Medicine ended after a tense couples’ trip where Apollo Nida and Sherien Almufti made a surprise appearance. The two confronted Phaedra about her new relationship with Cheick, whom Apollo claimed was his friend. In response, Phaedra accused Sherien in a confessional of being Apollo’s mistress while she was pregnant.

Phaedra alleged, “[Sherien] was Apollo’s mistress when I was pregnant with our youngest.” Feeling disrespected by Sherien’s presence at the retreat, Phaedra ultimately decided it was time to walk away from Married to Medicine. She later described her experience on the show as dealing with “mean girls” who were more interested in creating drama than fostering genuine friendships.

Though the season wrapped several weeks ago, Apollo recently took to Instagram to directly address the accusations made against him and Sherien.

“First off, let me just say this, people can flag the post all they want. You’re not going to silence me and shut me down. There are so many platforms out here. Social media is ubiquitous,” Apollo began his lengthy statement.

He continued, “2nd: @queensherien wasn’t a mistress, her morals and standards wouldn’t allow such a thing. The narrative and BS that Phaedra has been brainwashing you all with is completely ridiculous. To sit here and say that I was sleeping around while she was pregnant with my child is completely a LIE, then to label Sherien as the other woman is totally insane. Phaedra loves to fabricate just for her own pleasure. The timeline doesn’t make sense. My child was born already when I met @queensherien and Phaedra was doing her own thing.”

Apollo also took aim at the way the Married to Medicine episode portrayed a confrontation between Sherien and Phaedra, saying Phaedra never told Sherien she was “bad-bodied” to her face. Apollo wrapped his message by praising Sherien’s character and strength, despite the difficulties she has faced.

“4th: Most of you couldn’t walk a day in Sherien’s shoes. She is dedicated, loyal, loving, brilliant, a loving mother, a caring person who sacrifices her own wants and needs for the betterment of other people. She doesn’t run when times get hard, she is a genuine friend when you need her most. I can attest to this firsthand. Despite Apollo’s passionate defense of Sherien, their relationship has faced serious challenges. Earlier this year, Sherien filed for divorce, accusing Apollo of domestic abuse. That filing added another layer of complexity to an already messy situation involving former reality TV stars, lingering resentments, and a series of public accusations.

As Phaedra gears up to make her highly anticipated return to RHOA after years away from the franchise, it’s clear the drama surrounding her past relationships still hasn’t cooled down — and neither have the emotions tied to them.
