Porsha Williams Ends Friendship With Shamea Morton After ‘RHOA’ Season 16 Premiere — Sparked By Shamea’s Wealth, Marriage and Full-Time Peach!
Porsha Williams recently ended her longtime friendship with Shamea Morton — sparked by Porsha’s jealously of Shamea’s full-time peach, wealthy lifestyle and happy marriage.
Porsha and Shamea Face Tension in Season 16
Shamea Morton is officially holding a peach this season, marking a milestone as she steps into a full-time role on RHOA. The season kicked off with a look inside Shamea’s glamorous home and a lighthearted story about how she met her husband, Gerald Mwangi. She later hosted a birthday bash that brought the ladies together — but fans couldn’t help but notice Porsha arrived much later than everyone else.
Porsha explained her tardiness, revealing she wasn’t allowed to film at her home due to a cease and desist order from estranged husband Simon Guobadia. Still, the tension between Porsha and Shamea was hard to ignore.
A teaser for the season even shows the two friends sitting down for an emotional conversation, suggesting the bond between them is being tested like never before.
Porsha Responds to Kandi Burruss’ Comments
During a recent Instagram Live, Porsha directly addressed fan questions about her friendship with Shamea — and confirmed that the two are no longer as close as they once were.
When asked about Kandi Burruss’ comments, in which Kandi said she doesn’t think Porsha and Shamea are truly on good terms, Porsha responded, “Any comment on Kandi saying you don’t like Shamea? I don’t know if Kandi said I didn’t like Shamea. I think what Kandi said was she doesn’t believe we’re as cool as we used to be. And yes, that’s true.”
She continued, “I mean, when you come on the show and you have certain expectations and then things seem to turn on you without you knowing, you know that could change any relationship.”
Why Porsha Didn’t Promote Shamea’s Music
Fans also pressed Porsha about her lack of support for Shamea’s new song on social media.
“So why didn’t I post Shamea’s song? Dang y’all. Good grief,” Porsha said. “Well, she didn’t send it to me to post. I guess Shamea sent it to everybody but she didn’t send it to me. So I didn’t have it to post.”

Porsha Talks Drew Sidora and Business Drama
Porsha didn’t stop there. She also shared her thoughts on castmate Drew Sidora, who’s returning this season with a dramatic storyline involving her ex, Ralph Pittman.
“A lot of y’all didn’t want Drew back on the show,” Porsha said. “So I think coming into this season she had her ‘ready-made’ storyline with baby daddy, and they knew I would react because who wouldn’t?”
She continued, “If somebody’s doing something behind her back like trying to film behind your back or whatever, you’re going to have something to say. I mean, if I was filming with Ralph and she found out, she would be like wait a minute, why didn’t you just give me a heads up?”
Porsha also revealed frustration over Drew’s involvement with her hair business, Go Naked, without clear communication.
“Yes, if we’re doing business together, she works with me with Go Naked, I just expect a courtesy call that you’re going to start a whole different storyline filming with Dennis,” Porsha explained.
She added, “If you’re gonna do a photo shoot that’s beyond content online, if you’re going to do a ‘campaign photoshoot’ for Go Naked, tell the owner of the company. Drew just does what she thinks she gotta do to stay on the show.”
Moving Forward
Despite the drama, Porsha made it clear she’s letting go of her frustration — at least for now.
“I’m not mad at her no more. ‘Cause it is what it is. Like okay girl. I mean, I saw her the other day and it’s like hey girl, you look so good, you look so pretty. And like that’s that.”
As RHOA Season 16 unfolds, it’s clear that friendships and alliances are shifting, and Porsha isn’t holding back when it comes to clearing the air about her relationships on and off camera.
