Porsha Williams SHUTS DOWN Rumors She Snitched on Simon Guobadia to ICE!

Porsha Williams is making it clear—she did not report her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, to immigration authorities.

During a guest appearance on The Breakfast Club on Wednesday, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 43, addressed the rumors swirling around Simon’s legal troubles, shutting down speculation that she tipped off ICE amid their contentious divorce.

Simon, a Nigerian businessman, was detained by ICE in Georgia last month. According to WSB-TV 2 Atlanta, the 60-year-old was first declared deportable in 1985 after overstaying his visa. While he reentered the U.S. in 1986, reports suggest his immigration status has been in limbo for decades.

When news of Simon’s detainment broke, the internet was quick to point fingers at Porsha, with many assuming she had something to do with it. But when Breakfast Club hosts asked her directly, she didn’t hold back. “Did you call ICE on Simon?” they asked. Porsha, without hesitation, shut it down.

“No, no—it doesn’t benefit me at all,” she responded. She went on to explain why she has no reason to sabotage Simon, even amid their divorce battle.

“Mentally and financially, it doesn’t benefit me,” she added. Although their marriage has fallen apart, Porsha insisted she doesn’t harbor ill will toward Simon as a person—just some of his actions.

“Just because you’re going through a divorce doesn’t mean you hate someone,” she said. “I hate actions, I hate lies, I hate a lot of characteristics, but I love the person. I would never wish harm on anybody.”

Still, she couldn’t resist throwing in a little shade. “He’s a slithering snake,” she added. “He’s going to find his way out of it. I’m sure he’ll be fine.” Porsha and Simon’s whirlwind romance has been a headline-maker from the start. The pair got engaged in 2021 after just one month of dating, and they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in November 2022. However, just over a year later, Porsha shocked fans by filing for divorce in early 2024.

While she has remained relatively tight-lipped about the split, their legal battle has played out publicly, with accusations, social media shade, and legal filings keeping fans hooked.

Most recently, Simon’s legal team filed an emergency motion to delay their divorce hearing due to his detainment. His attorneys argued that he should have the opportunity to “adequately prepare” and participate in his own case.

Porsha’s legal team, however, opposed the request, making it clear that Simon’s predicament was of his own doing.

“Husband’s detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the direct result of his attempt to illegally enter the United States,” Porsha’s attorney stated. “This detention is a foreseeable legal consequence of his actions and not an act of ‘divine intervention’ as claimed.”

With Simon still in ICE custody and Porsha focused on her next chapter, their story is far from over.
