Craig Conover Claims Sienna Evans Was Never Into Shep Rose and Just Wanted Camera Time!

Shep Rose’s whirlwind romance with Sienna Evans has the Southern Charm cast talking, and Craig Conover isn’t buying it.

During the Southern Charm: After Show, Craig broke down why Shep, 44, was so fixated on Sienna, despite only having met her a handful of times. “Shep was so infatuated with Sienna that it was hard for him to pay attention to anything else,” Craig shared. He then compared Shep’s relationship with Sienna to his past romance with Taylor, implying that Shep was trying to recreate what they once had.

“My theory the whole time was he has never been as happy as he was when he was with [Taylor], and he’s chasing that relationship. Like, he wants that relationship. He wants that feeling again.”

Before the trip, Craig was under the impression that Shep and Sienna were “very serious” and exclusive. But after realizing they had only seen each other six times, he was blindsided.

“I was like, ‘Okay, I feel very misled.’” Madison LeCroy, 34, who has been skeptical of Sienna from the beginning, also chimed in. “That’s wild to me,” Madison said. “He’s like, I’m having kids, I’m gonna marry this girl, and I’m gonna buy a house in the Bahamas.” Craig doubled down on his concerns, saying Shep had even compared his romance with Sienna to Craig’s long-term relationship with Paige DeSorbo, which didn’t sit right with him.

“I was like, we spend every week together. You’ve seen her six times. But I wanted to meet her.” But once Craig finally met Sienna? He was convinced she was putting on a show. “I knew instantly it was disingenuous,” he admitted.

“I could just tell that there was zero connection or energy or chemistry between her and Shep [and] she wasn’t there because she liked Shep.”

Craig clarified that he didn’t think Sienna was a bad person, but he believed she was never truly into Shep and that it felt awkward being around them. Austen Kroll, 37, also felt the tension the moment Sienna arrived. “When she got there, [there] was so much tension in the room,” Austen recalled.

Shep, however, said he “didn’t feel that”, explaining that he was too caught up in the situation. “My head was probably spinning,” he admitted. Shep also revealed that Sienna was supposed to join him and his family in Italy, where they planned to see Coldplay in Milan.

“She was so excited about having us down,” Shep claimed. “She was gonna meet with the tourism board, ‘I can’t wait to see you,’ it was gonna be like a coronation of our relationship and then just like that, it was poof… gone.”

According to Shep, Sienna called him a week before their trip and said they needed to have a serious conversation—something that caught him off guard.

“I was like, ‘I agree but we’re gonna have it on camera. This is my life. This is what I do. You knew that. You came on TV, you were cool with that,’” Shep explained, adding that he respects the audience too much to hide anything. Agreeing with Craig’s theory that Shep was chasing an old feeling, Austen said it was obvious that Shep wanted more from Sienna than she was willing to give.

“You wanted that feeling again because you really liked having a person in your life like that,” Austen told Shep. Shep didn’t deny it. “I called Taylor every day all the time,” he admitted.

“And when that’s over, it’s jarring. Forget about doing everything together and kissing and hugging and stuff, that’s the part that’s tough.”

Southern Charm airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
