Lala Kent Fires Back at Critics Claiming She Has ‘Zero Friends’ After Falling Out with Ariana Madix and Her Ex-Assistant Jessica Walter!
Lala Kent isn’t backing down from her stance on keeping a small, exclusive circle, even after the fallout from Scandoval and Vanderpump Rules rebooting with a new cast.
In a recent appearance on Scheana Shay’s podcast Scheananigans, Lala explained why she’s fine with keeping her friendships limited, especially after facing drama with castmates. “I’ve always said I like my circle to be small,” Lala shared. “And the smaller the better.”
She continued, “I’d like to get it down [even more] because then I know there’s no liabilities. We’re all safe. I like quality over quantity. I’ve always been this way.”
Lala’s comments came in response to social media backlash, where some fans accused her of having no friends. However, Lala isn’t fazed by the criticism.
“That is not an insult. It’s a fact and thank God. I have the people that I need,” she responded. “And if any one of them at some point doesn’t bring me peace or I feel I don’t wanna bring them peace, then I look forward to throwing gasoline on the bridge and lighting a fire. It’s like my favorite thing to do.”
Since the fall of Scandoval and Lala’s public fallout with Ariana Madix, fans have questioned her relationships within the group. Some criticized Lala for turning on Ariana and losing her place within the Vanderpump Rules circle. “She pushed everyone away and now she’s got no one,” one fan wrote.
Another person claimed, “Lala, you are the problem. You did something to Jessica, and you turned on Ariana for no reason. You are weird.” If you don’t know who Jessica is, she is Lala’s former co-host and assistant.
Another commented, “Lala lost all her alliances and now has to settle for a tiny circle of people who still deal with her.” Despite the online backlash, Lala remains resolute.
Lala took issue with Ariana’s refusal to film with her ex, Tom Sandoval, which led to public tension between the two. However, Lala insists that her inner circle is exactly where she wants it to be, regardless of past conflicts. “I’ve got my circle right where I want it to be,” she concluded.
“It’s not that I for some reason am forgetting all of the bad stuff that happened. I’m sure other people have not, but I don’t think I need to reach out to anybody. I’m happy in the space that I’m in.”
