Monica Garcia Reveals She Won’t Sue Heather Gay to Protect Her ‘RHOSLC’ Comeback Amid Claims Involving Jen Shah’s Husband
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Monica Garcia didn’t hold back when addressing Heather Gay’s claims from her memoir Good Time Girl, where Heather alleged that Monica accused Jen Shah’s husband, Sharrieff Shah, of trying to kiss her. Both Monica and Sharrieff have denied the incident ever happened.
“At this point, it doesn’t matter what I say or what I do, people are going to believe what they want to believe,” Monica shared in a social media video posted on X. “I am [at] the point in my life where I am just gonna let them believe whatever they want.”
Despite the serious accusations, Monica explained why she won’t pursue legal action against Heather. “This is a trap. This is a bait. I’m not falling for it,” she said. “If I sue her for defamation, I can’t come back to the show.”
Hinting at behind-the-scenes attempts to keep her off the Bravo series, Monica added, “Y’all don’t know the lengths that certain people have gone to, to keep me off this show … Not today, Satan. Not today, honey.”
Monica took things a step further by shading Heather’s relevance on the show. “Girl, how are you still in the same spot I left you over a year ago? You are really still out here with no d**n storyline of your own,” she snapped.
She continued, “You’ve still got to distract onto other people, b*tch, because it is so hard for you to talk about your d**n self.”
In a final jab, Monica mouthed along to the viral audio, “Why are you so obsessed with me? … Get a life.” She also wrote over the clip: “Imagine having to write about someone you hate so much because you think it will make your boring book that much more interesting.”
If you didn’t know, RHOSLC alum Monica Garcia got hit with a $35,000 judgment after skipping out on a $2,000 cosmetic injection bill at Heather Gay’s Beauty Lab + Laser. The total includes the original bill, plus interest, late fees, court costs, and some serious attorney’s fees.
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City air Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
