Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Georgia Mansion Hits Auction Block — Locked Out and Broke!
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s sprawling Georgia mansion has officially been put up for auction after facing foreclosure.
According to a notice filed by Fulton County on Wednesday, November 27, the home was set to be sold on Tuesday, December 3, at a public auction to the highest bidder for cash outside the Fulton County Courthouse.
The property, located in Alpharetta, Georgia, has struggled to find a buyer for more than a year, despite several price cuts. Originally listed for $6 million in October 2023, the home’s asking price was reduced multiple times, most recently to $3.7 million in November 2024.
A History of Financial Struggles
The auction notice comes after the couple’s financial troubles made headlines earlier this year. In February 2023, the home was initially scheduled for public auction following the couple’s default on a $1.65 million loan taken out in 2012. While the pair reportedly took “action to clear this up” at the time, financial tensions have persisted.
Court documents obtained in September revealed that Kroy accused Zolciak of rejecting offers on the home despite its looming foreclosure. The former NFL linebacker cited her “frivolous spending” as a significant contributor to their financial predicament, alleging that the marital home was their sole remaining asset.
Kroy claimed Kim refused to accept offers under $3.85 million, reportedly stating she “didn’t care if the home went into foreclosure” and would not have “enough money to purchase a home” of her own if sold for less.
A Lavish Home with No Takers
The seven-bedroom mansion boasts luxurious features, including a six-car garage, billiard and arcade rooms, a gym with a private massage room, a 500-bottle walk-in wine cellar, a home theater, and a heated pool. Situated on 1.78 acres, the property also includes an expansive outdoor space perfect for entertaining.
Despite the mansion’s upscale amenities, no buyer has come forward at the reduced price, pushing the property closer to foreclosure.
Divorce and Family Drama
The auction drama unfolds amid ongoing divorce proceedings between Kim and Kroy. The couple shares four children — Kroy Jr. (13), Kash (12), and twins Kaia and Kane (11) — while Zolciak’s daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle (27) and Ariana (23), were adopted by Biermann.
In court documents, Kroy requested that the home be sold for a “reasonable price” and that Kim be removed from any decision-making processes related to the sale. He claimed her refusal to act on offers had worsened their financial woes, leaving their family in a precarious position.
Kim Zolciak’s Gambling Addiction
Kim’s gambling habits became a focal point in her ongoing financial troubles with estranged husband Kroy Biermann. Kim’s penchant for high-stakes betting contributed significantly to the couple’s mounting debts. Kroy has publicly accused Kim of squandering their finances through what he described as “frivolous spending,” including frequent trips to casinos and online gambling. Insiders close to the situation have alleged that her gambling losses played a role in their home falling into foreclosure, further exacerbating their financial crisis. Despite the allegations, Kim has largely denied that her spending habits are to blame, insisting that she has always provided for her family.
What’s Next for the Zolciak-Biermann Home?
As of now, it remains unclear whether the property found a buyer during the December 3 auction or if it will remain on the foreclosure list.
