‘Love Is Blind’ Leo Braudy Exposes Secrets About Miami Trip With Ex-Fiancée Brittany Wisniewski
Leo Braudy, star of Love Is Blind Season 7, is setting the record straight about his Miami getaway with ex-fiancée, Brittany Wisniewski, and the rumors surrounding their short-lived engagement.
Leo Addresses Miami Getaway Speculation
What happens in Miami doesn’t always stay in Miami, especially for Love Is Blind Season 7 stars Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski. During Monday’s Virtual Reali-Tea live show at Chelsea Table & Stage in New York City, Leo opened up about the couple’s post-engagement trip to Miami and addressed fan rumors about who footed the bill.
“I think that a lot of people have been saying, ‘Britney just wanted a free trip,’ or, ‘Oh, Leo has money. She just wanted a free trip to Miami,’” Leo told hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy during the live podcast taping. “If that’s what she wanted, she didn’t get it.”
Leo, who was criticized on the Netflix series for frequently mentioning his wealth, clarified that the trip was mutually planned and financially balanced. “We both really wanted to go to Miami together,” he explained. “And we split the cost of many things fairly.”
From Engagement to Friendship
During the Miami getaway, the couple stayed in a hotel, enjoyed time at the beach, and had numerous deep conversations about their relationship. It was during these discussions that Leo and Brittany came to a mutual realization.
“There’s a huge difference between getting engaged on the show and actually getting married,” Leo shared. “We had a lot of long conversations about it and we just realized that we were better as friends.”
Leo emphasized that their breakup was amicable, and their bond remains strong. “We’re super good friends,” he said, adding that they “still talk all the time.”
A Relationship That Didn’t Last Beyond the Pods
Leo and Brittany were one of the many couples who got engaged sight unseen during Season 7 of Love Is Blind, which premiered on Netflix on October 2. However, their relationship hit turbulence almost immediately after meeting in person for the first time.
Their initial face-to-face encounter became awkward when Brittany, co-founder of Hands On HIIT, refused to say “I love you” to Leo and pulled away from his attempt to kiss her. The pair were not chosen for the group trip to Mexico but decided to take their own trip to Miami instead. Despite the effort, they broke off their engagement just weeks later.
Brittany Finds New Romance
While Leo and Brittany have remained close friends, the Love Is Blind alum has moved on romantically. Last month, Brittany was spotted getting cozy with musician Mod Sun.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Brittany and Mod Sun were seen packing on the PDA while dancing to Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The pair appeared to be enjoying each other’s company, with Brittany’s romance making headlines shortly after her breakup with Leo.
Love After the Show
Leo’s Miami trip may not have ended in everlasting love, but he remains optimistic about the experience. “It was a learning moment for both of us,” he shared during the live show, making it clear there’s no bad blood between him and Brittany.
As Love Is Blind continues to captivate audiences with its unconventional approach to dating, Leo’s story serves as a reminder that not all connections in the pods lead to lifelong romance—but sometimes, they result in lasting friendships.
