‘RHOBH’ RECAP: Sutton Urges Kyle To Divorce and PK Explains Why He Dumped Dorit!
Dorit Confronts Kyle at Sutton’s Surrealist Bash
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills picks up where it left off, with Dorit Kemsley confronting Kyle Richards during Sutton Stracke’s surrealist bash. The tension between the two escalates as Dorit accuses Kyle of slighting her at BravoCon’s “besties” panel and dismissing their friendship on Amazon Live. Kyle, in turn, brings up Dorit’s shady comment about Morgan Wade on Watch What Happens Live.
Their back-and-forth is as sharp as ever. Dorit claims Kyle has “one set of rules for herself and another for everyone else.” The cracks in their friendship become undeniable, as both acknowledge the lack of a foundation beyond their mutual dislike of Lisa Vanderpump. Kyle quips, “Wait, you’re being so weird right now… Are you having a psychotic break?” Ultimately, the argument leaves Sutton’s roadside party in chaos, with no resolution in sight.
Dorit also accuses Kyle of icing her out after the last reunion. While Kyle doesn’t deny this, she argues she had too much personal turmoil to repair their friendship. Dorit, however, refuses to be silenced, asserting that she finally has a voice, and it must be heard.
Bozoma Saint John Inspires and Hosts Drama
Amid the chaos, newcomer Bozoma Saint John serves as a breath of fresh air for viewers. The episode highlights her hosting The BadAss Workshop Curated By Bozoma Saint John, where she shares insights from her 25-year corporate career. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Boz’s unapologetic approach to leadership is both refreshing and inspiring.
Later, Boz invites Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne to her beautiful, eclectic home. As they gather in the backyard, the conversation inevitably turns to Dorit’s ongoing feud with Kyle. Dorit admits she doesn’t understand why Kyle is upset with her, calling Kyle’s behavior confusing and unfair. She also opens up about her separation from PK, revealing that he often stays in a hotel to keep up appearances for their children, who think he’s simply away for work.
Erika, playing neutral ground as “Switzerland,” listens attentively, acknowledging both sides of the drama. Dorit shocks everyone by revealing that when PK drank heavily during their fights, he would leave for weeks at a time. The revelation shifts the focus from Kyle’s perceived double standards to the deep struggles in Dorit’s home life.
Sutton Pushes Kyle to File for Divorce
Meanwhile, Sutton Stracke doesn’t hold back during a lunch with Kyle, offering what she calls “tough love.” With Kyle updating her on her strained relationship with Mauricio Umansky, Sutton advises her to file for divorce to protect her financial future.
“I just think when it comes to money, people can be different,” Sutton warns. Kyle dismisses the idea, insisting that she trusts Mauricio to be fair because of her significant role in helping him build his real estate empire. “Everything we have is 50/50,” Kyle explains, adding that Mauricio himself credited her contributions in his book, “The Dealmaker.”
Sutton, however, remains skeptical. “I don’t see the book being used as evidence in divorce court,” she says in a confessional. “Those forensic people are gonna come in there and burn that book. The lesson is very clear coming out of my marriage: men do not like parting with their money.”
As Sutton quietly laughs, Kyle becomes defensive, doubling down on her trust in Mauricio. But Sutton doesn’t let up. In a hushed tone, she tells Kyle, “I think that you need to file. If you go on to do something from the date of filing, that’s yours.”
Kyle admits she’s heard the same advice from others but finds the notion overwhelming. “Everybody’s telling me, ‘You need to draw a line in the sand. You need to file for divorce,’” she says in a confessional. Sutton, however, is unimpressed with Kyle’s indecision. “Kyle needs to get a grip and go talk to an attorney. Quickly! Run, don’t walk,” Sutton tells the cameras.
Dorit and PK’s Toxic Marriage Unravels
Dorit delves deeper into her troubled marriage with PK during an emotional scene filmed at a restaurant. The couple’s candid conversation reveals just how toxic their relationship became before their separation.
“The progression of mine and PK’s fighting … this is where [it] really became too toxic,” Dorit shares. “We went from just screaming at one another but not using profanity to cursing at one another to actually having digs that were below the belt.”
She recounts the hurtful things they said during arguments.
“‘Oh, I hope you rot in hell. I hope you are alone for the rest of your life,’” Dorit recalls. “‘You are going to fall down off your chair drunk because you’re nothing.’”
PK doesn’t hold back either, telling Dorit.
“You’re my best friend and you’re my wife, and we don’t speak to each other nicely. If the server came over and we spoke to the server how we speak to each other, we’d be thrown out of this restaurant.”
He continues, “Of late, it’s like we don’t like each other. I don’t question the love, but we stopped liking each other.”
The couple, who announced their separation in May after nine years of marriage, share two children: Jagger, 10, and Phoenix, 8. The kids are unaware of the separation, with Dorit and PK maintaining the façade of normalcy.
Dorit accuses PK of being unable to snap out of his moods, while PK admits he often felt “less than” in their relationship. Dorit reassures him, saying, “Which is the last thing in the world I would want to do for you, or I’ve ever felt about you.”
Ultimately, the two agree that space is necessary for healing. While Dorit notes they still speak “like five times a day,” PK insists this cannot continue.
