‘RHOSLC’ RECAP: Tensions Explode at Mary’s Audrey Hepburn Brunch!

The November 20th episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City begins with Mary Cosby hosting an Audrey Hepburn-themed brunch, determined to put her recent stress aside and bring the group together despite the lingering tension from their Palm Springs trip. While some relationships show signs of improvement, others spiral into further conflict.

Lisa and Heather Talk Palm Springs Fallout

The episode opens with Lisa Barlow and Heather Gay shopping at Kemo Sabe, a favorite spot for custom cowboy hats. Heather is unimpressed by the venue but perks up when Lisa invites her for a margarita at the shop’s hidden bar.

Lisa shares her frustrations over the fallout from the Palm Springs trip, revealing that Bronwyn Newport told her she wished Heather had been on the trip. However, Bronwyn was furious that Lisa FaceTimed Heather during their getaway. Lisa explains that this tension even escalated to Bronwyn’s husband, Todd, who told Lisa that if she couldn’t resolve things with Bronwyn, she and her husband John should leave.

Todd Confronts Bronwyn

Meanwhile, Todd confronts Bronwyn about her behavior in Palm Springs. His disappointment is palpable as he lectures her on how she acted during the trip.

“In the 10 years we were together, I’ve never seen you act the way you have this weekend,” Todd tells her, describing her behavior as “not very becoming.”

Todd suggests that Bronwyn rise above the group’s drama rather than engage in it, accusing the women of dragging her into a “sewer of bullsh*t.” Bronwyn appears unsure of how to process her embarrassment, grappling with how to move forward.

Angie Reflects on Family and Loss

Angie Katsanevas shares a personal moment over dinner with her father, reminiscing about her childhood and her late mother. She opens up about her struggles to be a perfect mom to her daughter Elektra, trying to provide what she feels her own mother couldn’t.

Through tears, Angie admits her anger toward her mother for self-medicating with alcohol during her most vulnerable years.

“I don’t want to be mad at her, but I can’t help it,” Angie confesses, adding that she hopes to find forgiveness.

Mary’s Brunch Begins

Mary pulls out all the stops for her Audrey Hepburn-themed brunch, using the event as a distraction from her personal struggles with Robert Jr. The guests arrive dressed in theme, with Bronwyn and Meredith Marks both sporting clip-on bangs. While Bronwyn’s bangs fit the look, Meredith’s style falls flat.

Meredith Marks

Bronwyn reveals to Meredith that Todd gave her a “lecture” after their Palm Springs trip, setting the stage for more drama.

As the women take their seats, Mary surprises everyone by including Britani Bateman at the table after their earlier feud.

“I invited Britani to prove I’m not poor,” Mary says, referencing Britani’s earlier comment.

Conflict Over Palm Springs

The brunch takes a tense turn when Britani points out that she, Mary, and Heather were excluded from the Palm Springs trip. She confronts Angie about her lack of support during a prayer night, where Angie brought a bottle of wine. Angie defends herself, saying Britani’s own behavior is inconsistent with her expectations.

“You’re dating three guys and drinking. Why are you offended by me bringing wine?” Angie asks.

The tension escalates as Lisa accuses Britani of being rude about Bronwyn and Todd’s marriage, leading Bronwyn to confront Britani directly.

Lisa Barlow

“You’ve called me a gold digger and said I couldn’t possibly be attracted to Todd,” Bronwyn says.

Heather jumps in, questioning Bronwyn and Todd’s decision not to sign a prenup. Bronwyn defends herself, explaining that she booked Heather a first-class ticket for the trip as a gesture of goodwill. Heather, however, accuses Bronwyn of lying, claiming no one knows her real birthday for booking purposes.

Heather Gay

“Because it was my goddamn credit card,” Bronwyn snaps, explaining why she booked herself in first class.

Heather insists her feelings were hurt, but the women agree to start fresh and move forward.

Britani’s Outburst and Meredith’s Meltdown

Britani stands up, voicing her frustration over always feeling left out.

“Someone get her a puppy. She clearly needs unconditional love,” Bronwyn mutters.

At Mary’s suggestion, Britani apologizes to Bronwyn, though it feels forced.

The focus shifts to Angie and Meredith, who rehash unresolved issues from Palm Springs. Angie confronts Meredith over comments about her husband Shawn’s sexuality.

“If we go backward, it won’t be pretty for anyone,” Meredith warns.

Meredith pulls out receipts from a podcast involving Shawn, but Whitney Rose quickly grabs the phone, escalating the argument. Angie threatens to expose damaging videos of Meredith, leading to a heated exchange.

Mary’s Last Straw

Amid the chaos, Mary yells for Meredith to leave if she isn’t going to listen to anyone. Meredith takes the directive personally and storms out, claiming Mary has hurt her.

“At least she took those bangs with her,” Mary quips after Meredith’s exit.
