‘Summer House’ Star Lindsay Hubbard Reveals Pregnancy ‘Scare’ and Emergency Hospital Visit
Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard shared an emotional update with fans over the weekend, revealing a recent pregnancy scare.
Now nine months along with her first child, whom she’s expecting with boyfriend Turner Kufe, the 38-year-old Bravo star took to her Instagram Story on Sunday to discuss the ordeal and give fans a glimpse of her journey as she nears her due date.
In a candid video posted on November 10, Lindsay recounted the tense moment. “Little cub gave us a little scare on Friday,” she shared. “We went in for a routine ultrasound, and her heart rate was really, really high. So the doctor at the ultrasound place sent us to the hospital to monitor her heart rate.”
Lindsay went on to say that, after about 45 minutes of monitoring, her baby’s heart rate stabilized, allowing them to be released. Reflecting on the experience, she added, “Totally normal numbers. So they released us, but good practice run.”
In the same video, Lindsay showed off her baby bump, noting that it still hadn’t dropped. “I haven’t dropped yet so there’s that,” she said, admitting that she wasn’t entirely sure what to expect in the final weeks of pregnancy.
With the due date approaching, Lindsay and Turner are eagerly preparing to welcome their “Little Cub,” as she affectionately calls her unborn daughter. Responding to fans who feel she’s been pregnant “forever,” Lindsay humorously clarified, “Tell me about it. [But] the truth of the matter is I didn’t even announce until July 4, which is four months ago. So if you guys think it’s long, there’s a solid four-and-a-half months in there that you didn’t even know about.”
Lindsay’s excitement and nerves are palpable as she acknowledges that her baby girl could arrive at any moment.
“We’re getting close. Little Cubarooney could come any day. Any week. We are like, down to the wire. My belly keeps growing. She’s gaining weight,” she shared, showing a mix of anticipation and readiness.
As she prepares for the big day, Lindsay has been focusing on practical tasks, including self-care. “I shaved my legs today, which for anyone who has been pregnant or is pregnant, it is a feat, quite the accomplishment,” she laughed.
“Bending over is very hard when you’re nine months pregnant … but I feel accomplished.”
Lindsay also shared that she’s been working through a checklist of final preparations. “I’m still checking the last minute everything off my list. We’re pretty prepared, as prepared as you can be, I guess, in a very unpredictable time. So that’s where I’m at.”
With Summer House set to return to Bravo for its ninth season in early 2025, fans are eagerly awaiting both the show’s premiere and Lindsay’s transition into motherhood.
