RHOP’s Stacey Rusch Thinks Karen Huger Needs to ‘Take Accountability’ for DUI Scandal!

The Real Housewives of Potomac never shies away from drama, and Karen Huger’s recent DUI has ignited plenty of conversation among her castmates. While the Karen may want to keep her legal troubles under wraps, newcomer Stacey Rusch has voiced strong opinions on Karen’s approach, suggesting she’s yet to truly own up to her mistake.

During her Watch What Happens Live debut, Stacey didn’t hold back when discussing Karen’s response to the incident. “I love Karen and I support Karen, but I think we are all excited and wondering when it’s going to happen,” she shared. “Stand up, take accountability, and you know, stand on your truth.”

Karen’s DUI, which occurred in March 2024, has become a sensitive subject on the show, with the reality star hesitating to dive into details.

In her ongoing legal battle, she has accused the officers involved of illegal search and seizure, hoping for the charges to be dismissed altogether. Despite her efforts to downplay the incident, her castmates have urged her to take a more transparent approach.

Stacey’s comments add to a growing chorus of voices calling for Karen to address the issue. Fellow cast member Mia Thornton took things a step further, even suggesting that Karen might benefit from a rehab stint. 

However, Gizelle Bryant has expressed support for Karen Huger, believing she is taking accountability for her actions. In an interview with Decider, Gizelle praised her friend, saying, “Karen is evolving. She’s doing a lot of self-reflection. But if it was somebody else, she’d be coming for them.”
