Gizelle Bryant SLAMS Mia Thornton, Says She’s ‘Lying About Everything’
The Real Housewives of Potomac is back for Season 9, and fans are already loving the fresh energy Gizelle Bryant is bringing to the show. Known for her strong opinions and willingness to stir the pot, Gizelle is receiving positive fan feedback this year as she opens up more and shows a softer side—though not without her signature shade.
Reflecting on her evolution, she told Decider, “In years past, some felt like I was so messy… Well, no, I was just making a show… now they love me that way.” She added, “RHOP has drama and shadiness, but it’s not toxic. It’s fun. That’s who and what I am.”
Gizelle also shared her thoughts on mending fences with Wendy Osefo, calling for a “fresh start” after their tense reunion last season. “The group needed to gel a bit. I’m an OG; I’m a leader in this group. It was on me to figure that out,” she explained, hoping Wendy would be open to a clean slate.
She’s also excited about the new cast members and their potential. Of newcomer Stacey, Gizelle said, “She has an interesting story. She’s quirky… and different in this group is good.”
And while Gizelle praised Stacey’s unique approach, she didn’t hold back on Mia Thornton, hinting at upcoming drama. “Mia does not understand what the word ‘truth’ means,” she shared bluntly. “She lies to the point where I’m getting bored. So, there’s that.”
Gizelle Bryant might be alluding to Mia Thornton’s ongoing drama, as Mia’s revelation about her son Jeremiah’s paternity sparked questions about her honesty.
During the RHOP Season 8 reunion, Mia disclosed that her boyfriend, Incognito, questioned if he might be Jeremiah’s father, despite her marriage to Gordon Thornton, leading some fans to criticize Mia for bringing such personal matters into the public eye. Although Mia claims certainty over Jeremiah’s paternity, the situation has fueled debate, with Gizelle and others doubting Mia’s truthfulness.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
