Whitney Rose Blocks Lisa Barlow After ‘Horrific’ Messages Amid ‘RHOSLC’ Drama!
It looks like The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow won’t be mending fences anytime soon.
The rift between these former friends reached a new level on the Wednesday, November 6, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where Whitney revealed she’d blocked Lisa after receiving disturbing texts from her RHOSLC costar.
Whitney Claims Lisa Sent “Horrific” Texts
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Whitney, 38, shared that her decision to block Lisa, 49, came after what she described as “horrific” messages from her castmate. When host Andy Cohen asked if the two had spoken since the recent RHOSLC episode, Whitney responded, “Well, I had to block her phone number because she would send me the most horrific text messages. So I just blocked her.” She added confidently, “I’ll see her at [the] reunion,” indicating that she’s prepared to confront Lisa face-to-face when the cast reunites to discuss the season.
The tension between Whitney and Lisa has been escalating throughout RHOSLC Season 5. One key point of contention occurred on the October 30 episode, when Whitney’s husband, Justin, poured several bottles of Lisa’s Vida Tequila down their kitchen sink in a dramatic display that left viewers — and Lisa — stunned.
Ongoing Feud Over Jewelry Brand Rumors
The feud between Whitney and Lisa also stems from allegations involving Whitney’s jewelry brand, Prism. This season, Whitney accused Lisa of sharing damaging information with an Instagram gossip account, suggesting that her jewelry designs were copied from Alibaba, a claim Whitney denies. The accusations have added fuel to an already tense dynamic, with Lisa doubling down on her belief that Whitney’s claims are unfounded.
On Watch What Happens Live, Whitney expressed her frustration with Lisa’s ongoing accusations. “I don’t know why she keeps with this narrative,” Whitney told Andy. “I actually feel bad for her because she can’t prove anything that I’m lying about. At this point, it’s like, ‘Girl, it says more about you than it says about me.’”
Whitney has repeatedly denied the Alibaba allegations, and the rift over these claims has deepened the divide between the two Housewives. Whitney has maintained that her designs are original, and she’s voiced her disappointment in Lisa’s willingness to spread what she calls “false narratives” about her business.
Hope for a Reunion Resolution?
While the two seem worlds apart, Whitney hinted that she’s open to hashing things out at the upcoming reunion. On the WWHL After Show, she shared her hope that the reunion could provide an opportunity for honest dialogue between her and Lisa.
“I’m hopeful for the reunion that we can have some real talk and get to the bottom of things because there’s nothing worse than feuding with your friends,” Whitney said, acknowledging the emotional toll of their falling out. Still, she didn’t mince words about Lisa’s behavior, adding, “Lisa’s dug herself in a grave of lies that are just…”
Lisa Barlow Responds: “I’m Done”
For her part, Lisa isn’t optimistic about reconciling. Speaking with Us Weekly in October, she made it clear that she’s reached her limit with Whitney’s accusations.
“I mean, she’s been doing this since season 1 when she made up lies about me with the bartenders,” Lisa said. “Then [in] season 2, she came up with more things. Season 3, she accused me of sleeping with a business partner that’s also my husband’s business partner. And the list goes on and on and on, and I’m done. I’m so done.”
Lisa also explained that while she’s usually willing to forgive, Whitney’s actions this season have crossed the line. “No. I always have a path forward. I always forgive. I give grace,” Lisa told Us Weekly. “But I told her this time, ‘You’re lying about me and you’re going to have to say I’m sorry, and this time I’m not going to forgive you.’ It’s been one too many times. Whitney needs to stop lying about everybody.”
A Friendship Beyond Repair?
With Whitney’s claims of “horrific” texts and Lisa’s refusal to extend further forgiveness, it appears the former friends are at an impasse. What started as a seemingly small disagreement has snowballed into a full-blown feud that’s played out both on and off screen, leaving fans speculating about whether either Housewife is willing to extend an olive branch.
As Whitney and Lisa head toward the reunion, fans can expect more fireworks between the two, and possibly, a final word on the rumors surrounding Whitney’s jewelry brand. With both women standing firm in their perspectives, only time will tell if they can find common ground or if their friendship is beyond repair.
