For Love Is Blind Season 7 star Hannah Jiles, attending the reunion was a moment to reclaim her narrative and address the criticism she faced throughout the season. Not only did she confront her ex-fiancé, Nick Dorka, but she also tackled the negative comments she’s received on social media, where fans criticized both her behavior and appearance.

Hannah received significant backlash for her treatment of Nick during their time on the show, with fans voicing their disapproval of her actions and even attacking her looks. After posting a video on TikTok that showcased her recent weight loss, some accused her of using filters to enhance her appearance.

Determined to show her true self, Hannah prepared extensively for the reunion, knowing this was her chance to silence her critics.

Reflecting on her experience, Hannah was candid about her body image struggles throughout the season, revealing that she had liposuction before entering the pods. Upon meeting Nick in person, she felt insecure about their size difference.

However, the real pressure, she told Us Weekly, came while preparing for the reunion. “[In] the beginning when the show came [out], everyone was like, ‘Well let’s see if it’s a filter. Let’s see if she looks different,’” she shared. “What if I don’t look the same?”

With months spent planning her look, Hannah eventually chose a striking red dress for the reunion and drew inspiration from Gigi Hadid for a classic Hollywood glam style. “I was like, ‘I want old [Hollywood] glam hair,’” she recalled. “Nothing too crazy makeup-wise.”

Hannah’s confidence shone through as she put Nick on blast at the reunion, while he later took to Instagram, voicing that he felt “ganged up on.” Still, for Hannah, the reunion was a moment to get everything off her chest, embracing the confidence she had worked hard to rebuild.

Additionally, during the reunion, other cast members addressed lingering tensions, bringing closure to unresolved conflicts from their time in the pods and further showcasing how the show’s unique format often reveals unexpected dynamics.
