Vannessa Cross Hopes for Skin Removal Surgery on ‘1000-Lb. Best Friends’
1000-Lb. Best Friends star Vannessa Cross is ready to take her weight loss journey to the next level, as seen in the teaser for Season 3. Vannessa, who has lost a significant amount of weight, reveals her goal of undergoing skin removal surgery.
“I’ve reached monumental goals… I don’t have to wear diapers anymore,” Vannessa shared in an emotional confessional, reflecting on her transformation. She hopes the surgery will help with her confidence, especially in dealing with excess skin, which she calls “Miss Betsy.”
Despite her impressive progress, Vannessa Cross admits feeling self-conscious about the excess skin that remains after her weight loss, especially as she works toward maintaining her health. “I’m hoping and hoping and hoping to get approved for skin surgery in the next few weeks,” she said, expressing her eagerness to move forward.

As Vannessa continues her transformation, she revealed that she is planning more procedures to achieve her ideal look, including a Brazilian butt lift (BBL). “I’m a little bit addicted to plastic surgery because my healing was extremely easy and painless,” she joked. Now, she’s setting her sights on getting the round, lifted booty she’s always dreamed of.
