“[He’s] not suing [Tamra]. [He] doesn’t have any interest in suing Tamra,” Jennifer confirmed during her interview.

While Jennifer acknowledged that they knew what they were getting into by sharing their lives on RHOC, she admitted that Tamra crossed a line during Season 18 with some damaging claims.

Ryan’s like, ‘Let her say that I sleep with donkeys and married women and my jackets have too much splattered paint. I don’t care,’” Jennifer joked. But things took a more serious turn when Tamra made accusations about Ryan and their home.

“The allegations of our home with seven children living in it being raided by the FBI or the fact that Ryan stole, or had any part of the Shohei Ohtani situation, he’s like, ‘That’s just too much,’” Jennifer explained. “That affects his life, my life, and his businesses.”

Following the FBI raid and theft allegations, Tamra issued multiple public apologies, admitting she had misspoken. Jennifer expressed her gratitude for Tamra’s efforts to set the record straight.

“She did retract both statements, and Ryan’s great with it,” Jennifer said, adding that Ryan appreciated the gesture and was ready to move on from the situation.

In september, following Tamra’s public apology, many fans were skeptical, with one writing, “Trying to avoid a new lawsuit it seems… convenience to misspeak on a public platform… I don’t buy anything this woman is selling.”

Ryan confirmed the legal move in response to the comment on September 28, writing, “Facts. I had Tamra served yesterday. Hence the apology.”

In a further response on a Bravo fan Instagram account, a supporter urged Ryan to take action, saying, “Please get yourself a good lawyer and sue Tamra’s a-s off. She’s out here now trying to do damage control saying I didn’t mean to say Ryan stole money. We are behind you and Jen 💯.”

Ryan responded, revealing more about his legal strategy: “FACTS ☑️ I ALREADY DID – I hired Geoff Neri, the same AMAZING attorney that represented Jim Bellino in his victorious slander and defamation lawsuit against Tamra years ago. She was served yesterday. #ROUND 2.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
