Whitney Rose Postpones WWHL Appearance as Daughter Bobbie Remains in ICU

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose is facing a challenging time as her 14-year-old daughter, Bobbie Rose, continues to recover from a severe asthma exacerbation that landed her in the hospital. Whitney has been by her daughter’s side throughout the ordeal, and recently took to social media to thank her fans and hospital staff for their overwhelming support.

On October 6, Whitney shared the alarming news that her daughter, Bobbie, had been rushed to the hospital due to complications from her asthma.

Bobbie’s condition worsened quickly, leading doctors to place her in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). At just 14 years old, Bobbie’s asthma attack was severe enough to require critical care, leaving Whitney and her family grappling with fear and uncertainty.

As Bobbie remains in the hospital, Whitney has kept fans updated through social media, while also expressing her gratitude for the outpouring of love and support.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Whitney provided a heartfelt update on her daughter’s condition. “Thank you to everyone who has continued to reach out and check in on Bobbie Rose. We are still in the ICU, but she has finally seen a bit of improvement,” Whitney shared with her followers. Despite the initial scare, Bobbie is now showing signs of progress, though she still has a long road to recovery ahead.

Whitney went on to acknowledge the emotional toll this has taken on her family, while also thanking everyone for respecting their privacy during this difficult time.

“She still has a long ways to go, so no official updates yet. Thank you for all your prayers, they are felt and working. Thank you for understanding our desire for privacy at this time, as you can imagine, this has been very stressful. Bobbie is so brave and strong,” she wrote.

In her touching message, Whitney also gave special recognition to the hospital staff for their exceptional care of Bobbie, referring to them as “angels.” She posted a photo of Bobbie from the hospital, showing her fans a glimpse of her daughter’s bravery during this scary experience.

Given the seriousness of Bobbie’s condition, Whitney has also made the decision to postpone her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which was originally scheduled for October 9.

Her absence comes as no surprise to fans, as Whitney’s top priority is, of course, her daughter’s health and well-being.

While Whitney takes a step back to care for Bobbie, her RHOSLC co-star Mary Cosby is set to take her place on the popular late-night show alongside Andy. It remains unclear when Whitney will be able to reschedule her appearance, but fans understand that her focus needs to remain on Bobbie’s recovery.
