Lisa Barlow SHOCKS Fans by Extending Grace to Jen Shah, Despite Blasting Her for Scamming the Elderly!
Lisa Barlow is now extending grace to Jen Shah, despite previously distancing herself and openly condemning Jen’s involvement in the fraud scandal.
Jen Shah’s tumultuous time on RHOSLC left a significant mark, as tensions escalated following her guilty plea to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Though Jen is currently serving a 6.5-year sentence for her role in a telemarketing scheme that targeted the elderly, the drama surrounding the former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star continues to linger, keeping her name in the spotlight even after her 2021 arrest.
Heather Gay even claimed that Jen was responsible for her infamous black eye during Season 4—an allegation that Jen denied from prison. At the time, Lisa was vocal about the trauma Jen caused, stating, “In a way, she gave every single one of us a black eye with her actions.”
However, it seems Lisa’s feelings towards Jen may be evolving. During a recent appearance on the Scheananigans with Scheana Shay podcast, Lisa was asked about whether she stays in touch with any former castmates, including Jen.
“Oh my gosh, jail mail! No, but she did tell [Murilo] that when she gets out of prison, she’d like to have a relationship with me and Meredith [Marks],” Lisa revealed. “So, that was like our jail mail.”
When asked how she feels about potentially reconnecting with Jen, Lisa shared, “We did exchange one text on Mother’s Day where she said, ‘Happy Mother’s Day,’ and I said it back. But you know, Jen’s crazy, but she’s harmless at the end of the day—unless you’re elderly.”
While the idea of rekindling a friendship with Jen raises eyebrows, especially given the nature of her crimes, it seems Barlow is open to the possibility once Shah finishes her sentence.
Meanwhile, fans had plenty to say about Lisa Barlow’s change of heart. “Lisa Barlow giving grace to Jen Shah after everything?? She literally scammed the elderly! How is this even a thing?” one fan questioned. Another added, “I can’t believe Lisa is open to reconnecting with Jen.
