Alexis Bellino admits she’s not proud of her behavior this season on The Real Housewives of Orange County, acknowledging that she “acted 16 instead of 47” during a heated moment on the show.
Her return to the show has been filled with drama, and things took a turn when she received a pointed text from castmate Shannon Beador, telling her she wasn’t welcome on a group trip. The situation escalated when Alexis read the message aloud to Katie Ginella and Jennifer Pedranti, only to end their visit abruptly by kicking them out.
During a recent interview with Bravo, Alexis reflected on the scene. Producers replayed the moment she read Shannon’s text, which made it clear she wasn’t invited to a cast trip to Europe.
The text read: “Hello Alexis. It’s Shannon Beador. I am hosting a trip to Europe with my friends and just wanted to make it clear that you are not invited. That should be quite understandable, given the circumstances. Thank you for the flowers, but I am not interested in an olive branch.”
After reading the message, Alexis abruptly told her guests it was time to leave. “She opened the door and said, ‘It’s time to go,’” Katie quipped, recalling the moment. “I’ve never been kicked out of anywhere before.”
Alexis now realizes how the scene came across. “It was one of those moments where I acted 16 instead of 47,” she confessed. However, the sting of Shannon’s text still lingers. Alexis believes Shannon has been trying to push her out of the group, which contributed to her “knee-jerk” reaction toward Katie and Jenn.
While Alexis is reflecting on her actions, it doesn’t seem like her strained relationship with Shannon will improve anytime soon. The divide between them might be too big to mend, but as fans of RHOC know, anything is possible.
