Kyle Richards was recently spotted looking tense just days after police were called on her sister, Kim Richards, amid their ongoing feud.

On Sunday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, visited a Los Angeles farmer’s market with a friend. Dressed in a Halloween-themed jack-o-lantern hat, khaki pants, and a black Prada purse, Kyle seemed deep in conversation.

This appearance comes after weeks of tension between the Richards sisters due to concerns over Kim’s sobriety. According to TMZ, Kyle and Kim were involved in an incident earlier in September at a Hilton hotel. Kim, 60, was reportedly “incoherent,” prompting the police to intervene. After Kim refused to leave the hotel, she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold and taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The drama didn’t end there. Following her release, Kim reportedly showed up at a home owned by Kyle, where she had previously been allowed to live. Concerned neighbors contacted the police regarding Kim’s erratic behavior. Kyle reportedly informed authorities that she had cut her sister off in an effort to encourage sobriety and asked that Kim no longer stay at the property. However, police informed Kyle that legal action would be necessary to remove Kim from the home, and she was seen visiting an L.A. courthouse on September 27.

A source close to the family spoke to People, revealing, “Kim’s reliance on alcohol has been an ongoing source of conflict between her and her sisters.” The insider added, “Kyle has always been the worrier of the family. She does her best to take care of Kim — and essentially bankrolls Kim’s life, with Kathy [Hilton] — but never knows where the line goes between helping and enabling.”

The source continued, explaining that Kim is in a “really bad place,” and while the family has kept the details private, it’s clear that this has become another breaking point for the Richards sisters.

Kim’s struggles with sobriety are well-documented. In 2015, she was arrested for shoplifting from a Target and was sentenced to 300 hours of community service, three years of probation, and 52 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. That same year, Kim was also sentenced to three years probation following a public intoxication arrest, along with additional AA meetings and community labor.

While Kim has yet to publicly comment on the recent incidents, their sister, Kathy Hilton, has remained quiet as well. Over the weekend, Kathy posted throwback photos of the three siblings on her Instagram story, leaving fans to speculate about the state of the Richards family dynamics.

As the Richards family continues to navigate their complex relationship, the public remains eager to see how the sisters will handle their ongoing issues, especially with Kim’s sobriety concerns at the forefront. For now, Kyle remains committed to finding a balance between supporting her sister and protecting her family from further turmoil.
