Diddy’s Lawyer Claims Feds Are Targeting Him Because He’s a Powerful BLACK Man!

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has made bold claims about the federal government’s treatment of his high-profile client. Agnifilo, who previously served as a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney, argues that Diddy legal troubles stem from systemic bias against successful Black men.

Speaking on TMZ’s special, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, Agnifilo claimed that the federal government has unfairly scrutinized Diddy’s personal and professional life.

“They start making this case as a takedown of a successful Black man,” Agnifilo said in the interview. “This is the government scrutinizing his business, scrutinizing his taxes. He does everything right.” He went on to assert that federal agents are invading Diddy’s privacy, particularly with regards to his personal life, in a way that is disproportionate and unjust. “What’s the last vestige? We are going to go into his bedroom because maybe we don’t like the way he is having sex,” Agnifilo added.

A Legal Battle Over Decades-Old Allegations

The music mogul, now 54, was arrested last week on a variety of serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, all of which he has firmly denied. Diddy was taken into custody by Homeland Security officials at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan and has since been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial. His indictment includes a slew of allegations spanning more than a decade, accusing him of coercing women into abusive sexual scenarios and using intimidation to protect his reputation and conceal his conduct.

The most shocking accusations involve so-called “Freak Off” parties, which were reportedly elaborate, drug-fueled sex performances organized by Diddy. These sessions, according to the indictment, sometimes lasted for days, with both Diddy and his victims requiring IV fluids to recover from the exhaustion and drug use. Agnifilo, however, dismissed these allegations as an intrusion into his client’s private life.

He argued, “These are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. We can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was, there would be no more people.”

Raids Uncover Startling Evidence

Federal agents conducted raids on Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year, where they allegedly confiscated a shocking amount of material related to the accusations. Among the items were over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, which were reportedly used during the “Freak Off” parties. In response to the bizarre detail, Agnifilo downplayed the significance, saying, “I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know.” Despite this defense, Costco has since confirmed that they do not sell baby oil in bulk.

The government’s case against Diddy doesn’t stop at the allegations of sexual misconduct. According to U.S. Attorney Damian Williams, the investigation has also unearthed significant evidence of financial crimes. The authorities plan to present financial and travel records, electronic communications, and video footage of the alleged parties to build their case. Additionally, firearms were reportedly seized during the raids, including three AR-15 rifles with defaced serial numbers.

Agnifilo Defends Diddy’s Character

Despite the serious nature of the charges, Agnifilo maintains that Diddy is in good spirits and is optimistic about his chances in court. “He’s just laser-focused, he’s engaged, he’s helpful, he’s confident. We’re going through our defense as we do every day and his spirits are relatively good,” Agnifilo said in an interview with the New York Post.

Diddy’s arrest follows a series of lawsuits and accusations against him, the most high-profile being a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Ventura’s lawsuit alleged that Diddy subjected her to years of physical and emotional abuse, including instances of sexual assault. Although that lawsuit was settled out of court the day after it became public, the floodgates seemed to open, with several other women coming forward with similar claims.

Potential Consequences

If convicted on all charges, Diddy could face up to 15 years in prison, with the possibility of a life sentence. Prosecutors initially argued that he should be jailed while awaiting trial, citing the seriousness of the charges and the risk of flight. Diddy’s legal team countered with a proposal to release him on a $50 million bond, with home detention and electronic monitoring, but U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky sided with the government, keeping him behind bars for the time being.
