Cardi B Announces She Gave Birth Baby No. 3 with Estranged Husband Offset
Cardi B has officially expanded her family, welcoming her third child on September 7 with estranged husband Offset.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to Instagram on Thursday to share the joyous news, posting a series of touching hospital photos that captured the special moments with her newborn baby girl.
In the carousel of images, Cardi, 31, can be seen cradling her newborn in the hospital, alongside pictures of Offset, 32, holding their daughter.
Their other two children, Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3, are also featured, providing a glimpse into their growing family dynamic. One heartwarming snapshot shows Cardi breastfeeding her infant while resting in her hospital bed.
Cardi’s announcement comes just over a month after she revealed her pregnancy on August 1. At that time, Cardi posted a striking image of herself on a rooftop, showcasing her baby bump in a red gown paired with a feathered coat. In her post, she expressed her gratitude and excitement about the new chapter in her life.
“With every ending comes a new beginning!” Cardi wrote. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”
Cardi continued to reflect on the support she has received, adding, “You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and cannot wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
She concluded her message with, “It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns, and tests lying down, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Just one day before her pregnancy reveal, Page Six reported that the Love and Hip Hop alum had filed for divorce from Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, after nearly seven years of marriage.
A source close to the couple explained, “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else.”
The insider also dismissed cheating rumors as the cause of their separation, although the couple has faced such allegations over the years.
Despite the divorce filing, Cardi has made it clear that she is seeking primary custody of their children but is not requesting child support from Offset.
