Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney Fight Back Against Chef Penny Davidi’s Lawsuit Over Something About Her

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s sandwich shop business success has hit a legal snag. Their former business partner, Chef Penny Davidi, has filed a lawsuit, claiming the duo breached their partnership agreement. Now, Ariana and Katie are responding to those allegations.

Chef Penny’s lawsuit centers around claims that in June 2023, she was promised 10% partnership rights in the sandwich shop and was designated as the “COO/Director of Culinary.

Additionally, she alleges she was to receive $7,500 per month, with an increase to $10,000 starting in January 2024.

On an episode of VPR, Ariana and Katie dismissed these claims in a conversation with Lisa Vanderpump, and they continue to stand firm in their legal stance.

According to court documents recently obtained by In Touch, Ariana and Katie’s legal team denies any wrongdoing. Their lawyer argued, “Plaintiffs fail to allege facts sufficient to support any claim for relief, including by failing to allege a justiciable controversy.”

In their filing, Madix and Maloney asked the court to dismiss the case and deny Chef Penny any compensation.

Despite the ongoing legal drama, the VPR stars are not shying away from a courtroom showdown. In fact, they have requested a jury trial, which could bring added risk but also an opportunity to present their side of the story publicly.

Whatever the outcome, the women are standing firm and confident as they prepare for their day in court.

Meanwhile, their sandwich shop, Something About Her, continues to thrive. Since opening its doors in May 2024, the shop has drawn a steady stream of customers, with fans and foodies alike eager to try their offerings.

The crowds outside the shop show no signs of slowing down, and Madix and Maloney remain focused on the success of their business despite the legal battle looming in the background.

As Vanderpump Rules is rumored to begin filming its next season this fall, fans can expect more drama both on-screen and off, especially as this lawsuit continues to unfold.
