Sister Wives star Mykelti Brown has officially cut ties with Robyn Brown and her dad Kody Brown, revealing that a dramatic incident at Garrison Brown’s funeral was the breaking point in their relationship.

Tensions Reach a Breaking Point

In a stunning turn of events, Mykelti Brown, 28, daughter of Kody Brown has severed ties with Robyn, citing an incident surrounding Garrison’s funeral in March 2024.

For years, Mykelti had been one of the few family members to stand by Kody and Robyn, despite the increasing conflicts within the family. However, after Garrison’s passing, things have dramatically changed.

Mykelti Spills Tea

Mykelti took to her Patreon to address the situation. When asked by a patron why her relationship with Robyn seemed to have shifted, she responded candidly:

“We try very hard to say what we can while respecting our families and relationships. We don’t lie,” Mykelti stated. She also hinted at a significant change in her stance toward Robyn, explaining, “Yes, lately it may seem as that has changed. There are things that happened during the recent funeral that are the reason for that.”

While Mykelti refrained from going into detail, it’s clear that whatever occurred at the funeral was enough to cause a permanent rift.

Family Drama at the Funeral

Observers at the memorial service noted a palpable distance between Mykelti and Robyn. Mykelti sat on one side of the aisle with her arms crossed, while Kody and Robyn sat on the other. The physical separation mirrored the growing emotional distance in the family.

As fans of Sister Wives are aware, Garrison and Gabriel have had tense relationships with both their father and Robyn. The tension only worsened with time, as Garrison asked Robyn to relax strict COVID-19 rules during the pandemic. In response, Robyn lashed out, stating, “These aren’t my rules… You gotta blame somebody, so I’m an easy target.”

Robyn’s Role in the Family Tensions

Robyn has faced her share of criticism within the Brown family, with many family members accusing her of being a key factor in the family’s division. Mykelti was once one of the few who stood by Robyn. However, her recent statement makes it clear that this support has now ended.

“We have always been super supportive of Robyn, and that has changed,” Mykelti revealed, adding that whatever happened at Garrison’s funeral was the final straw.

Ongoing Struggles Between Kody and His Sons

Kody’s relationships with his sons, particularly Garrison and Gabriel, had been deteriorating for some time. The boys had accused Robyn of playing a significant role in the family’s division. At one point, they even refused to attend family gatherings, with Garrison famously refusing to apologize, leading to further estrangement.

Kody, on his part, had been vocal about his frustrations with his children’s behavior, once referring to them as “jerks,” on national television. He also suggested he did not want to have any further conversations with them.
