Craig Conover Claims Being in the Same Industry as Paige DeSorbo Makes Their Relationship Cool

Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo have been going strong for over three years, and the Southern Charm star believes there’s one key factor that helps them stay connected. In a recent interview, Craig opened up about why their romance continues to thrive.

As the owner of Sewing Down South and a staple on Southern Charm, Craig attributes a large part of their strong relationship to the fact that both he and Paige are in the entertainment industry.

“Being in the same industry helps,” Craig shared with Life & Style. “I’ve dated people who weren’t on TV, and that’s fine, too, but it’s cool to experience this with Paige. There are probably less than 150 Bravo people out there.”

As longtime Bravolebrities, Conover and DeSorbo share a unique bond that many others can’t relate to, which strengthens their relationship.

Despite celebrating their three-year dating anniversary in the summer of 2024, Conover and DeSorbo aren’t rushing to get married. In a September interview, Craig explained that while they do want to get married and have kids one day, they’re in no hurry.

“The goal is to one day be married and have kids, but we realize we still have plenty of time to do that,” Craig said. He added that he’s no longer feeling the urgency he once had to propose.

“There’s a false sense of urgency that’s put onto you, and I was guilty of that, too,” Craig admitted. “We want to just let things evolve organically. We’re enjoying the life we’re living now.”

Like Craig, Paige has no immediate plans to walk down the aisle. In an August interview with E! News, she shared that while they’ve had conversations about marriage, it’s not a priority for them right now.

“Honestly, me and Craig rarely talk about when are we getting engaged, when are we having a baby. Of course, we’ve had those conversations, but it’s not as much as everyone else is having them,” Paige said. “So we don’t really get that stressed out about it.”

DeSorbo added that although many of her friends are married, she doesn’t feel any pressure to keep up.

Neither DeSorbo nor Conover feels pressure from their families to rush into marriage. Paige revealed that both of their families are supportive of the pace at which their relationship is evolving.

“In my dad’s eyes, I still live at home, I’m still 16 years old,” Paige joked to E! News.

“But no, I’m very thankful that my family and Craig’s family never pressure us. They never really ask about it. I think they know that we’re so busy and enjoying our lives, they would never add any extra stress to their two children.”

As Southern Charm and Summer House continue to film, Conover and DeSorbo are focused on enjoying their relationship, taking things one step at a time without feeling rushed.
