Farrah Abraham’s daughter, Sophia, is revving up for a new adventure — once she earns her driver’s license.
The 15-year-old recently celebrated a milestone by receiving her first car, a Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast, as documented in an Instagram Story. “We can’t wait for delivery,” gushed Farrah, 33, sharing the exciting news with her followers.
Farrah has been sharing Sophia’s journey towards driving on social media, including a recent post about her “first day of driver’s ed.” With Sophia’s 16th birthday just around the corner in February, Farrah is enthusiastic about her daughter’s impending license. “She’ll be getting her license shortly,” Farrah stated.
The Tesla, which TMZ reports cost over $123,000, follows a tradition of grand birthday celebrations for Sophia. Just six months ago, the reality star made headlines by marking Sophia’s “big 15” with extravagant gifts. The teenager received a money wreath, along with a dermal piercing and a tongue piercing, as part of her birthday festivities.
“More important than all the fun is knowing my young woman knows who she is, is educated & has a bright future ahead of her,” Farrah reflected on Instagram. “So much more to come, a great fearless woman for this next generation. Love you 15-year-old Sophia.”
Farrah has been open about her parenting choices, including Sophia’s multiple lip piercings from the previous year. Addressing critics, Abraham defended her decisions, emphasizing that her daughter is being well-prepared for life’s challenges. “Right now Sophia is learning well-being, self-love, mental health, sex Ed, drug education, Ada compliant education before actions go beyond her learning. So she is prepared for all that life brings her way,” Farrah explained.
Sophia has shown support for her mother through the ups and downs, commenting on her posts to reassure Farrah, urging her not to “stress” since she’s “the best.”
Over the years, Farrah has faced scrutiny over her parenting decisions, including the controversial choice to allow Sophia to pierce her septum in 2022. Despite the criticism, Abraham remains steadfast in her approach to parenting.
Sophia, who was born in February 2009, is the daughter of Farrah Abraham and Derek Underwood. Tragically, Underwood passed away before Sophia was born, leaving Farrah to navigate parenthood as a single mother.
