Bethenny Frankel recently unleashed a fiery tirade over a restaurant in the Hamptons, claiming she played a pivotal role in its rise to fame and expressing frustration over not receiving proper recognition.

On the latest episode of her Just B podcast, the former Real Housewives of New York star spoke candidly about her experiences with local eateries, revealing her disappointment with one particular establishment she did not name.

“I know this is gonna sound ridiculous,” Bethenny began. “And I can’t believe I’m ever gonna say this, but I made this one establishment in the Hamptons viral, to say the least.” Bethenny elaborated that while the restaurant was already popular among Hampton locals, her endorsement had turned it into a must-visit destination.

Bethenny continued, “I made people come there to get certain items that are so expensive.” She criticized the establishment for its exorbitant pricing, stating that dishes like chicken salad and guacamole were priced between $30 and $40, which she described as “psychotically overpriced.”

Despite these steep prices, Bethenny suggested that her influence brought patrons through the door. She reflected on her return visit to the restaurant, expressing a desire for some form of acknowledgment for her contribution. “I’ve gone back to visit there and just want some acknowledgment,” she said. “And also to get some food. It would have been nice for someone to say, ‘Wow that was so funny’ or ‘That was so crazy,’ or a wink or a smile or anything.”

Bethenny was clear that she didn’t expect excessive flattery or special treatment. “I don’t mean I want them to ‘kiss my ass’ by any means,” she clarified. “But at least comment on the contribution I’ve made to the place.”

Her frustration extended beyond mere recognition. “If you’re going to f**k me, you better be nice to me. It’s all I’m asking,” she stated, adding, “Otherwise, no way. We’re not f**king again.” Though the connection between her demand for courtesy and her comment about dining seemed unclear, Bethenny’s message was unmistakable.

Bethenny also added a touch of humor to her rant, saying, “And the people making the guacamole are laughing that schmucks like us would pay $40 for guacamole.” Despite her frustration, Bethenny’s remarks carried an undercurrent of amusement as she critiqued the high prices at the restaurant.
