Paige DeSorbo and Amanda Batula Are ‘Good’ Despite Craig Conover and Kyle Cooke’s Feud
Paige DeSorbo and Amanda Batula are proving that friendship can weather any storm—even one caused by their partners’ business rivalry.
The Summer House stars have maintained a close bond, despite the ongoing feud between Amanda’s husband, Kyle Cooke, and Paige’s boyfriend, Craig Conover. The spat, which revolves around competing hard seltzer brands, has made headlines, but it hasn’t affected the women’s relationship.
In an exclusive interview with E! News, Paige DeSorbo, co-host of the Giggly Squad podcast, assured fans that she and Amanda are as close as ever.
“Honestly, Craig and Kyle could burn each other’s houses down and me and Amanda would still go get drinks together,” Paige said with a laugh. “There’s literally nothing that the two of them could do or say to each other. I would never let a man influence my friendship with Amanda.”
Paige’s statement is a testament to the strength of their friendship, which has remained intact despite the tension between their significant others. “So, no, we’re good,” she added. “We’ve been good.”
The conflict between Kyle and Craig first came to light in May when Kyle publicly criticized his former best friend for investing in Spritz Society, a direct competitor to Kyle’s own hard seltzer company, Loverboy.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kyle didn’t hold back his feelings. “He has a reputation of lying and he lied to me,” Kyle claimed. “The way he handled it really rubbed me the wrong way and I’m trying to take the high road.”
Kyle went on to describe the business deal as a “really shady operation,” adding fuel to the fire of what was once a close friendship between the two reality TV stars. The public fallout has been a significant source of drama, but Paige and Amanda have managed to stay above the fray.
Craig, for his part, has also addressed the situation, offering his perspective on the controversy. Speaking to Page Six, the Southern Charm star explained his involvement with Spritz Society and why he chose to invest in the brand.
“Part of my investment came with designing my own flavor,” Craig revealed. “I will have my own can.”
Despite the business rivalry, Craig insisted that he harbors no ill will toward Kyle or Loverboy. “I have nothing but respect for those guys and I will always be a Loverboy fan,” Craig said, before adding a dose of pragmatism.
“But guess what? I’m all the way down in Charleston, and I’m on a different show and we’re going to have Spritz down there now.
As the upcoming season of Summer House looms, fans are eager to see how the tension between Kyle and Craig might play out on-screen, and whether it will have any ripple effects within the group. However, if Paige’s words are any indication, she and Amanda are prepared to stand by each other no matter what happens.
