Cardi B Reveals She’s Expecting Baby No. 3 After Filing for Divorce!

Cardi B is gearing up for another chapter in her life as she confirms she’s pregnant with her third child.

The 31-year-old rapper shared the joyous news on Instagram on August 1, showcasing her baby bump in a striking red dress.

In her heartfelt post, Cardi expressed her gratitude and excitement, writing, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”

She continued, “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and cannot wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”

Cardi’s announcement comes amid significant personal changes. The rapper recently filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Offset, for the second time.

As reported by Page Six, Cardi is seeking primary custody of their two children, 2½-year-old Wave Set and 6-year-old Kulture Kiari.

Offset also has three other children from previous relationships: sons Jordan, 14, and Kody, 8, and daughter Kalea Marie, 9.

In December 2023, Cardi confirmed her single status during an Instagram Live, revealing she struggled with how to share the news.

“I’ve been single for a minute now,” she said. “But I have been afraid … Not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been, like, a sign.”

Cardi had previously hinted at their separation through cryptic messages on social media and by unfollowing Offset.

Despite the turbulence in their relationship, the couple was seen together on New Year’s Eve and maintained a public presence as co-parents. Offset directed Cardi’s music video for “Like What (Freestyle)” in March, and they attended a New York Knicks game together in May.

In a interview, Cardi described their relationship as “all right now,” saying, “Because we do love each other,” and emphasizing their deep friendship.

Balancing motherhood with her music career, Cardi opened up about seeking a nanny and relying on her parents for support. “I had them kids,” Cardi asserted. “They came out of my p—-, not my mom’s. They mine.”

She also noted the challenges of managing her career while raising her children, stating, “My kids come first. My kids come before anything.”

Cardi and Offset’s relationship has been marked by ups and downs since their marriage in September 2017.

Their split in 2018, followed by a reconciliation and a second divorce filing in September 2020, showcased their turbulent yet passionate connection.

As Cardi B prepares for her growing family, she continues to navigate her personal and professional life, balancing the excitement of her pregnancy with the complexities of her evolving relationship with Offset.
