Katie Maloney Seen Out with ‘Love Island USA’ Star Connor Newsum, Dating Rumors Spark!
Katie Maloney appears to be back on the dating scene, as the Vanderpump Rules star was recently seen out with Connor Newsum, a contestant from “Love Island USA.”
The two were spotted enjoying a dinner together at Laurel Tavern in Studio City, California, on Tuesday, according to Us Weekly.
A source revealed to the magazine that Maloney and Newsum shared an intimate meal alone at a corner table, and noted that Katie “looked amazing” throughout their evening.
The specifics of how Maloney, 37, and Connor, 28, crossed paths remain unclear, though there’s speculation that her co-star Ariana Madix, who hosts the Peacock reality show, might have played a role in their meeting.
Newsum’s stint on “Love Island” saw him making connections with JaNa Craig and Leah Kateb, though he was ultimately not chosen by Leah, who recoupled with Miguel Harichi. After leaving the villa, Connor confirmed to Us Weekly that he had stayed in touch with Cassidy Laudano.
Previously, Katie was married to her Vanderpump Rules co-star Tom Schwartz from 2019 to 2022.
The dissolution of their marriage was partly attributed to Schwartz’s bar, Schwartz and Sandy’s, which Maloney believed contributed to their marital issues.
“All of the marital issues and arguments and everything we were having has now just been personified. This bar was the other woman in our marriage,” she remarked on their reality show. Tom, 41, later admitted he was unsure if the bar was “worth it.”
Following their divorce, Katie hinted at her dating life at BravoCon, where she revealed she had been seeing a 25-year-old. “Single girl Katie is having a good time,” she said.
“It’s just casual. It’s just fun. I haven’t been single since I was 24, and the landscape is totally different,” she explains.
In Vanderpump Rules Season 11, viewers saw the complexities of Maloney and Schwartz’s post-divorce interactions, including their shared interest in the same woman, Tori Keeth.
Although Tom was the first to ask Tori out, Katie ended up sharing a kiss with her during a group beach day.
Maloney has since confirmed that while she and Keeth are on good terms, their relationship remains friendly and casual.
