‘Vanderpump Rules’ Alum Rachel Leviss Claims She Wants to Reconnect with Lala Kent

Rachel Leviss, a former cast member of Vanderpump Rules, expressed a desire to open a friendship with Lala Kent despite past tensions.

In a recent episode of her podcast, “Rachel Goes Rogue,” Leviss discussed the fractured relationships with her co-stars following her highly publicized affair with Tom Sandoval, which led to her departure from the Bravo series in 2023.

“I feel like trust has been broken on both ends. The love that I received from the cast members was conditional,” Rachel revealed.

While she harbors no illusions about rekindling deep friendships with the cast, she remains optimistic about mending fences with Kent.

“I don’t think that there’s a world where there’s any sort of genuine friendship. But I think there’s a world where we can be cordial to each other and not send the dogs on each other anymore,” she said.

Rachel also shared a nostalgic sentiment for the camaraderie of the VPR ensemble, notably excluding her ex-fiancé, James Kennedy. “I think I miss everyone except for James,” she admitted in June.

Her reflections extended to Lala, acknowledging a newfound understanding and appreciation for Lala’s fiery spirit following the scandal.

“I miss Lala’s feisty energy. I understand Lala a lot more after experiencing this entire [cheating] scandal,” Leviss commented.

This comes after Kent criticized Rachel at the season 10 reunion for her role in the affair dubbed ‘Scandoval‘.

Leviss also expressed regret over not fostering a stronger friendship with Katie Maloney and lamented her flirtatious interactions with Maloney’s ex-husband, Tom Schwartz, during the show’s tenth season.

In addition, Rachel spoke fondly of her friendship with Scheana Shay and the time spent with Scheana’s daughter, Summer Moon.

Shay, addressing Leviss‘ comments on her podcast “Scheananigans with Scheana Shay,” reflected on the complexity of their relationship, especially after legal issues arose.

“I get it because there are things about her friendship that I miss. But things just changed so much, especially with — once the court system got involved, that just put it on another level,” Scheana explained.

Lala Kent, during a January 2024 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” shared her disappointment in reaching out to Rachel Leviss post-scandal, expecting her to retreat from the public eye.

“Cut to, she does Bethenny’s podcast. And I’m like, ‘I would have never reached out to you had I had a crystal ball.’ I thought she was going to bag groceries at Vons or something, and live a normal life,” Kent stated, noting that Leviss did not respond to her outreach.
