Aurora Culpo and Boyfriend Paul Bernon Take Big Step by Introducing Their Kids
Aurora Culpo, star of “The Culpo Sisters,” and venture capitalist Paul Bernon’s relationship is quickly deepening as they navigate integrating their families.
Aurora opened up about the evolving dynamics on her “Barely Filtered” podcast, sharing insights with her sister Olivia Culpo just before Olivia’s June 29 wedding to Christian McCaffrey.
“He’s still getting to know my kids,” Aurora revealed during the podcast episode, noting that Paul has met her children, Remi, 5, and Soleil, 3, a couple of times, including over FaceTime.
Culpo shares her children with her ex-husband, Michael “Mikey” Bortone.
Aurora expressed that her children have taken a liking to Bernon, 45, adding,
“He’s really nice. He has his kids, too, and they’re 17 and 14. They’re older, and they’re really nice.” The internet personality also mentioned meeting Bernon’s children during a doubles tennis match, reflecting on her role in their lives.
“I never saw myself as ‘the evil stepmother,'” she said, appreciating that Bernon’s children are older and “already raised.” She humorously added, “There’s no pressure on me. Now I can be like, ‘I won’t tell your dad. Here’s some beer.'”
During the conversation, Olivia pondered whether the couple’s decision to introduce each other to their kids indicated a serious commitment.
Aurora, however, downplayed the significance, saying, “My kids are so little, everybody’s just a friend. It’s not like we’re making out in front of them.”
The public first caught wind of Aurora and Bernon’s romance following a sighting of the pair kissing at the ‘Quin House in Boston, reported by an eyewitness to Deuxmoi.
A source later told Us Weekly that the duo has been dating for at least two months, following Paul’s breakup from his ex-fiancée, Bethenny Frankel, earlier in the year.
Despite the growing seriousness of their relationship, Olivia decided not to allow Aurora to bring Bernon to her Rhode Island wedding, a decision Aurora labeled as “rude.”
Olivia defended her choice, stating, “No, [it’s] rude to invite somebody I’ve never met,” emphasizing the importance of personal familiarity at her wedding.
