Jeff Lewis BLASTS Sonja Morgan’s Drunken Behavior at ‘WWHL’ Celebration
Jeff Lewis, the “Flipping Out” star, recently shared some candid remarks about Sonja Morgan’s behavior during the 15th-anniversary taping of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
Jeff expressed his frustration on Sirius XM’s “Jeff Lewis Live,” where he detailed an encounter that left him quite disturbed by Sonja’s conduct.
“I was very annoyed by Sonja and, I believe … that they did a lot of work to edit her obnoxious, drunk behavior, but what you see was 20 times worse,” Lewis stated.
According to him, Morgan’s behavior included being overly talkative, belligerent, and rude.
“She never stopped talking. She was belligerent. She was rude and disrespectful. She was confrontational. She came for me at the break. I was completely turned off by her behavior,” he elaborated.
During a commercial break, Morgan reportedly confronted Jeff with some harsh words, telling him, “I only hate one other person more than you,” which left him puzzled as to the reason for her upset.
Lewis added, “By the way, accusing me of something that I don’t recall doing. I don’t think it was something that I did do.”
Further incidents during the live taping added to the tension. Jeff’s co-host mentioned that Sonja’s interruptions were audible throughout the episode.
At one point, during a minor confrontation between Lewis and Teresa Giudice, Morgan told Lewis, “Get on your knees.”
Her interjections continued during the “After Show” segment, where she was heard interrupting with slurred speech.
One particularly awkward moment involved Sonja refusing to participate in Luann de Lesseps’ “Marry, F*ck, Kill” game at her cabaret show with a controversial remark about her co-stars, which left other guests, including several “Housewives,” Lewis, and Jerry O’Connell, in shock.
According to a source from Page Six, Morgan appeared intoxicated upon arrival at the studio and was served water once producers noticed her condition during the taping.
This led to an incident captured on the “After Show” where Sonja, visibly agitated, held up a shot glass and exclaimed to de Lesseps, “This is water!”
The post-taping interactions did not improve, as Jeff claimed that Sonja confronted him backstage, leading to executives intervening and escorting her away. He reflected on the implications of such behavior.
“I watched her behavior and I thought to myself, ‘This has got to affect your career. Like when you show up at a professional event and act like this, how can this not affect your career?’” Lewis pondered.
Moreover, Jeff mentioned a rumor that Sonja and Luann’s show “Crappie Lake” was not renewed due to Sonja’s antics, although this was denied by a production source.
