‘RHONJ’ Star Cuts Ties with Teresa Giudice To Protect Her Mental Sanity
In a decisive move aimed at safeguarding her mental well-being, a ‘RHONJ‘ star has chosen to sever ties with Teresa Giudice, citing the need for personal peace and clarity.
In a interview on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” Jenn shed light on why she remains cordial with Teresa Giudice despite the ongoing feud between Teresa and her long-time friend, Margaret Josephs.
Jennifer explained that if she weren’t Teresa’s RHONJ co-star, she would have ended their association.
She suggested that Teresa was “nice” during the production of RHONJ season 14, saying, “It’s not in my nature to be nasty to someone who is being nice to me. And I like to pride myself on the idea that I listen. And to listen to other points of view.”
However, Jennifer made it clear that her friendship with Teresa was never very close.
She also mentioned that she decided to distance herself from Teresa, seemingly referencing rumors that Teresa and Jennifer Aydin shared gossip and screeners to encourage a RHONJ fan Instagram account to post negatively about some cast members.
“Teresa and I – we were never close, close friends. Right. We were friendly. And it’s unfortunate, because now a lot of this stuff that’s come out in social media has — I’ve kind of taken a step back. Just for my own mental health,” Jenn Fessler shared.
Jenn also updated fans on her friendship with Margaret Josephs, confirming they are still “close” despite some conflicts.
“Margaret has been upset with me. I’ve been upset with her. But we pushed past it. Because on the other end of that there’s all this love,” she said.
“So it’s like worth it to push past it. And so we always do in the end. I’m going to kill her for all the things she’s saying about me. But that’s for another day.”
Addressing Margaret Josephs’ belief that she befriended Teresa to avoid conflict, Jenn responded, “I don’t love confrontation, it’s true – I think Margaret said I was ‘weak sauce.’ Or something to that effect,” she noted.
“I don’t think that I’m weak sauce because if you are going to come at me – I’m going to come at you.”
Josephs had expressed surprise at Jennifer’s friendship with Giudice in a May 2024 interview on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.”
“I was a little shocked by that – I’m not going to lie. Because Teresa really isn’t her type of person,” Josephs said, adding that she believes Fessler “does not like confrontation.”
“I know Jen Fessler, I was friends with her before she got on the show. I know the type of people she likes and socializes with. And, you know, some things are just for appearances in my opinion,” Josephs continued.
Josephs also declared that Giudice “means nothing in [her] life,” during the interview. “She really means nothing in my life. I wouldn’t even know a person like Teresa Giudice,” she stated.
She mentioned that some RHONJ castmates told her Giudice “was obsessing over [her]” and “was going to drop some bomb” during season 14 filming.
“I mean she’s so obsessed with me, I could care less about her,” Margaret added.
Teresa addressed her issues with Margaret on a May 2024 episode of Tori Spelling’s podcast, “misSPELLING,” expressing her displeasure with Margaret’ claim that her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, spent all her money.
Teresa suggested that Josephs made the claim for attention.
“She’s putting out this false narrative out there. She’s trying to make me her storyline. That’s all she does is talk about me. She’s obsessed with me and my husband,” said Giudice.
