Rachel Leviss is embarking on a new chapter by shedding her old identity as “Raquel” and embracing a fresh nickname, “Rocky,” she revealed on the latest episode of her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue.

“It’s just funny and cute to me,” the former Vanderpump Rules star, 29, shared, recounting how the moniker stuck after she playfully introduced herself as “Rocky Rocky Bang Bang” at the Lightning in a Bottle festival.

“The name Raquel came out of a place where I felt like I wasn’t worthy and I wanted to be something that I wasn’t,” she explained of her decision to adopt the name years ago.

Leviss opened up about her past struggles with insecurity and social anxiety, revealing, “I was trying to overcome a lot of social anxiety and trying to conform myself into who I thought other people wanted me to be.”

Nowadays, she introduces herself as Rocky, a nickname that also carries nostalgic significance from her childhood volleyball days. “It’s a nickname, and I don’t think it needs to be anything crazy,” she noted.

“You can say whatever you want about me. I like nicknames, and I like connecting to the different parts within me. And it doesn’t mean I have a whole new identity or anything. It just means that I’m an integrated human being.”

Reflecting on recent developments, Rachel addressed ongoing drama from Vanderpump Rules, particularly the extended coverage of “Scandoval,” her past affair with co-star Tom Sandoval. “I do feel like Scandoval has been dragged out for far too long,” she admitted, acknowledging the producers’ perspective on capturing real-time drama.

Following the recent Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion, Leviss expressed relief about focusing on her podcast and moving away from the show’s drama. “I am just so proud that I have created this podcast with the help of my producers,” she shared.

“It’s also a relief that I don’t need to be on the defense any longer. I feel like a weight has been lifted off and I’m now able to take this podcast in the direction that I see it going, which is focusing on mental health and keeping these conversations going about the things that are important in my life.”

As fans await news about Vanderpump Rules Season 12, the future of the reality series remains uncertain.
