Alexia Nepola Reveals She’s Still In Love with Estranged Husband Todd!

Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola has opened up about her efforts to salvage her marriage with estranged husband Todd Nepola, revealing they are undergoing couples therapy despite filing for divorce.

Speaking candidly on the “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast, Alexia acknowledged the complexities of their situation, including their continued physical intimacy since separating.

“We’ve gone to therapy. We’re doing couples therapy,” she disclosed during the June 15 episode. When asked about their post-separation relationship, she confirmed, “Yes, of course. We’ve done it all. We love each other. We’re super into each other. It’s not because of that.”

Todd initiated divorce proceedings in April, marking a challenging turn for the couple after three years of marriage. Currently living apart, Alexia expressed her heartfelt desire to reconcile.

“I’m madly in love with him and I would want it to work out, so that’s why it’s so difficult,” she shared, highlighting the added strain of their public personas. “He does not like [being in the public eye], no.”

As a fixture on RHOM since its 2011 debut, Alexia noted Todd’s discomfort with public scrutiny, exacerbated by their high-profile relationship. Reflecting on their journey, she described feeling blindsided by the divorce filing, attributing their marital challenges to communication issues.

“I just believe that we have to have better communication. You know, I think we’re both strong people and I think that we struggle with the way that we communicate,” she admitted. Despite their disagreements, Alexia believed in their potential to overcome obstacles typical of any relationship.

The news of Todd’s divorce petition came amidst earlier denials of financial troubles on RHOM Season 6, fueling speculation among Alexia’s co-stars about the state of their marriage. Hours after the announcement, Alexia took to Instagram Stories to express her initial shock and heartbreak over Todd’s decision.

“I am shocked and heartbroken Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage,” she shared with her followers. “I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time.”

The couple, who married in December 2021 following delays due to COVID-19 restrictions, had celebrated their union with symbolic moments that Alexia cherished deeply. Now, as they navigate their separation in the public eye, Alexia remains hopeful for better days ahead, leaning on her support system amidst the personal challenges they face.
