Nicki Minaj is facing backlash from fans after a video surfaced showing her behavior towards her dancers during a recent performance at Resorts World Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

In the footage shared online, the 41-year-old star is seen onstage flaunting her flat stomach in a white crop top and wearing a purple bandana over her red-haired wig, paired with torn denim jeans.

During her performance of “Pink Friday Girls,” which samples Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” Nicki appears to demand a leopard scarf from her team. When one of the backup dancers attempts to communicate with her, Minaj seemingly dismisses her and even appears to slap her hand away.

The atmosphere onstage becomes tense as Nicki places her hands on her hips and seemingly begins to yell at the dance troupe. Despite the apparent altercation, the dancers continue with the routine as the audience grows restless, with some heckling at the singer.

Criticism flooded the comments section of the video, with many fans expressing disappointment in Nicki Minaj’s behavior towards her team. One commenter wrote, “You’re already 3.5 hours late to the concerts and now you’re acting bossy? The nerve of you.” Another stated, “Nicki has a really bad attitude. She needs to grow up; it’s ugly.”

Others shared similar sentiments, with remarks about Nicki’s alleged unprofessionalism and tardiness to concerts. Some fans even compared her unfavorably to other artists, suggesting a better experience at a Cardi B or Megan Thee Stallion concert.

This incident comes after Minaj canceled the first night of her United Kingdom tour in Manchester just 30 minutes before she was scheduled to perform. The cancellation followed her detainment by Dutch police in Amsterdam for allegedly possessing drugs, resulting in her release after paying a fine.

Despite the controversies, a tour insider revealed to The U.S. Sun that Nicki Minaj is determined to make it up to her fans who were disappointed by the canceled show.

“Nicki is in pieces and knows her fans have badly been let down,” the source shared. “She knows her British fans spent a lot of money on coming to that show, and her team is working non-stop to get it rescheduled.” The insider added:

“Nicki understands why they are upset, and she is so determined to make it up to them. She likes to speak to her fans on a personal level. Nicki wants to make it right.”
