‘Real Housewives of Dubai’ Star Caroline Brooks Clashed with Gizelle Bryant At BravoCon
Caroline Brooks, star of Real Housewives of Dubai, revealed a tense interaction with Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant during BravoCon.
“Let’s just say we had a conversation [at] BravoCon [2022] and it wasn’t very positive,” Brooks, 34, shared on the “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast by Page Six.
Brooks, who had only recently joined the reality TV scene with RHODubai, admits she “can’t even remember” the specifics of their exchange but remembers the overall unpleasant tone. “I just know she wasn’t very nice to me. It is what it is,” she said, adding that she has no intention of mending fences with Gizelle. “And please don’t put me and Gizelle in an ‘Ultimate Girls Trip,’” she warned. “That’s not going to go well.”
Caroline made it clear that their clash was not over Jason Cameron, a “Winter House” star they both dated. “He didn’t exist yet. He came shortly after,” explained the entrepreneur, who founded Glass House by Caroline Brooks.
Caroline and Cameron had a dinner date at New York City’s Carbone in July 2022, just before he began seeing Gizelle and filming scenes for RHOP. Caroline likened Jason’s dating pattern to Slade Smiley from “Real Housewives of Orange County,” who famously dated multiple women from the show.
“It’s giving me a little bit of, like, Slade Smiley vibes,” she said. “How do you hop from franchise to franchise? That’s a little messy, Jason.”
Despite the drama, Caroline noted she wasn’t serious about him. “As life happens, I ended up going to a Carbone dinner with Jason and then she ended up dating him after I finished my pasta. So enjoy, Gizelle,” she remarked. “She can have Jason and the check!”
Brooks described Jason as “sweet” but revealed their date wasn’t exactly thrilling. “I do know that when we went out to dinner he was super sweet. I also do know that I fell asleep during dinner. Literally, I was sleeping at the table. I ate the pasta and I fell asleep at the table,” she recounted, adding that Carbone’s loud atmosphere didn’t help. “I had the most delicious pasta I’ve probably ever eaten in New York, and I got a little snooze in there too.”
Currently single, Brooks joked about her love life being “nonexistent” but hinted at a new romantic venture in the upcoming season of “RHODubai.” “We’re trying,” she teased, mentioning fans will see her dating a “younger man” in Season 2. “Summer’s coming, so we’ll see.”
