Bethenny Frankel Claims Her Ex Husband Jason Hoppy Locked Her Dog In A Storage Unit

Bethenny Frankel recounted a disturbing incident amidst her divorce from Jason Hoppy, alleging her dog was “locked in the storage unit” and she couldn’t locate her.

On her Just B Divorced podcast, the Real Housewives of New York alum shared, “There was another incident right around that same time where one of my assistants said we don’t know where the dog is. We don’t know where Cookie is.” She continued, revealing, “And then they told me [she] had been locked in a storage unit… Cookie, with a food bowl and a water bowl, had been locked in the storage unit and was barking and the building was complaining.”

Bethenny expressed her frustration at having to email her lawyer multiple times to locate Cookie, as she couldn’t inform her daughter about the situation. Eventually, they retrieved Cookie from a facility in New York.

She also disclosed feeling uneasy, suspecting she was “being recorded” after her assistants questioned how her ex knew her whereabouts. “I was like, ‘Oh wow. I’m under siege right now,’” she admitted, adding that she resorted to putting a “padlock” on her bedroom door.

Frankel famously tied the knot with Hoppy in a lavish televised wedding back in 2010. Despite sharing a daughter, Bryn Hoppy, who is now 13 years old, their marriage ended in 2012, having a divorce battle that lasted for a decade.

Before they exchanged vows, a “s—ty” prenup was signed, though Bethenny initially resisted the idea. It was her agent and lawyers who eventually persuaded her to agree, reminding her, “I’m marrying a regular guy, a small-town guy.”

 Last month, Bethenny announced a hiatus from her podcast following her mother’s passing, removing some episodes as well.
