Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon SPLIT After She TRASHED Her Ex-Husband

Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon have ended their relationship after six years together. The breakup follows a public outburst from Frankel, during which she harshly criticized her husband.

According to Us Weekly, a mutual friend of the couple revealed to Us that the decision to split was mutual, stating, “It just wasn’t going to work.” The breakup occurred approximately two months ago. The source elaborated on their differences, noting, “They are so different – he’s an under the radar kind of guy.”

Recent social media activity from Bethenny Frankel has stirred speculation about her relationship status. Despite the breakup, she has been selectively wearing her giant engagement ring in some videos. “She still has the ring,” the source emphasized.

Frankel and Bernon’s relationship began in October 2018, sparked by their initial meeting on a dating app.

“I was pretty lucky when I walked in and saw him,” Bethenny Frankel reminisced to People in April 2021. “He had a twinkle. He came as advertised — better than advertised. He overshot the mark.”

Nearly a year later, an exclusive source informed Us Weekly that Bethenny and Paul had taken their relationship to the next level by moving in together and embarking on a house-hunting journey.

“They live together in the Back Bay area [in Boston] now,” the insider disclosed in September 2019. “She has been spending a lot more time up there. They are house-hunting in the New England area.” Although there was a brief split in October 2020, Frankel and Bernon reconciled in January 2021, as evidenced by their joint appearance in Miami. “It was a spontaneous get-together,” an eyewitness shared with Us Weekly at the time.

Their reunion was followed by a joyous announcement of their engagement in March 2021.

“I’m very excited, and it’s really wonderful,” Bethenny expressed in an interview with Extra during that period.

Reflecting on their relationship a year after their engagement, Frankel couldn’t contain her admiration for Paul, describing him as an exceptional partner.

“I’m grateful for balance in my business and personal life and the choices I’m making, the successes I’m experiencing, the daughter I am raising,” Bethenny Frankel shared in November 2022 on an episode of People’s “Every Day” podcast. “Paul is amazing. He’s a good partner. He’s a good friend. He’s a good dad. So everything’s good. Everything is really good.”

Despite rumors of another split, Frankel clarified in July 2023 that she and Paul were still going strong but had no immediate plans for marriage. “I don’t want to build a wedding,” she asserted during an appearance on E! News. “I love my life. I love my fiancé. He’s an amazing life partner and I don’t want to sign a contract with someone I love. I don’t want to plan a massive wedding for everybody else and not [do] what we want. I like doing what you want, not what society wants you to do.”

Frankel’s previous marriage to Jason Hoppy, which lasted from 2010 to 2012, concluded in March 2021 after a protracted legal battle. They share a daughter, Bryn, aged 13.

“It was literally the most traumatizing thing I will hopefully ever go through in my life,” Frankel disclosed in an April 2024 episode of her “Just B” podcast regarding her divorce. “I have been through a f–king war. I have questioned myself as a human, as a parent, because I was told so many times otherwise how terrible I was and disgusting and old and irrelevant and abused, because I had no power to get out of it.”
