Kim Zolciak celebrated her upcoming birthday early with her daughter, Brielle Biermann, and a friend, sharing moments from the celebration on Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, who is set to turn 46 on May 19, posted several slides from a dinner at a high-end restaurant. Amid rumors of foreclosure on her Georgia mansion, Zolciak appeared in a dark silver gown paired with strappy black heels and styled her blonde hair down, accessorizing with a diagonally striped black and white purse.
During the celebration, Zolciak captured selfies in the mirror, captioning one of the posts, “Celebrating my birthday a little early,” and expressing gratitude to her friend, tagged as @brianbnyc, “Thank you for always loving and spoiling me.”
This outing comes in the wake of controversy surrounding Kim Zolciak’s social media activity. On April 23, she stirred confusion and backlash by posting a black-and-white photo with her estranged husband Kroy Biermann, accompanied by the caption “RIP” and a broken heart emoji, leading some followers to mistakenly believe he had passed away. She later clarified that the post was metaphorical, referring to the end of their marriage and not Biermann’s actual death.
“The story was a tribute to many we’ve lost this past year. And yes, my relationship was lost too, so it seemed fitting,” Kim explained, addressing the uproar and advising her followers, “People also need to get serious. Do you actually think if Kroy died — even with all of the issues we’ve had — my first instinct would be to go to my Instagram and post #LinkInBio with his pic and #RIP attached?”
In a follow-up post on April 25, Kim shared another photo with Kroy, using the opportunity to denounce rumors and lies, stating, “I am TIRED OF ALL THE LIES and ACCUSATIONS. EVERY DAY it’s always something new. I’m tired of so much BS being thrown my way. So you want to know ‘what died?’ Here’s the truth.”
Amid these developments, Kim’s daughter Ariana took to TikTok to express her reaction to the misleading post, admitting it gave her a “damn heart attack” and left her with “secondhand embarrassment.”
