Amy Duggar Wishes ‘Absolute Torture’ for Pedophile Cousin Josh in Prison 

Anna Duggar King ripped into her cousin, Josh Duggar, declaring in a new interview that he “deserves every second” of his 12-year prison sentence. 

“I hope every day there is absolute torture for him,” King told People. “I really hope that because what he watched and what he was viewing for his own fulfillment is those kids experiencing torture.”

The convicted sex offender is serving his 12.5-year prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Seagoville, Texas, after being found guilty of receiving and possessing child pornography.

King added that she hoped that Duggar “messes up again,” as his sentence was extended by two months in March 2023.  

“He deserves every second in there, and I hope he gets a longer term,” she said. 

The 19 Kids and Counting alum “knowingly received” child pornography between the dates of May 14-16, 2009, according to the grand jury indictment, filed by the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Arkansas. Some of the images included children under the age of 12, according to prosecutors. Investigators described the materials as “the worst of the worst” they had ever seen, during the trial.

In November 2019, federal agents raided Duggar’s office inside his car dealership where they seized his computer and other electronic devices. He was arrested on Thursday, April 29, 2021, and charged with receiving and possessing material depicting the sexual abuse of children. A Department of Homeland Security official stated that Duggar possessed over 200 images of nude minors and material pertaining to child sexual abuse. The material reportedly revealed children as young as five years old.

In March, 2023, Duggar’s appeal was denied and his sentence was extended by two months after a contraband phone was discovered in his prison cell. 

King shared that she didn’t know if her cousin was working to better himself during his time behind bars. 

“I have not spoken to him, and I will not. I will not,” she said. “When you just cross those evil lines like that, there is no coming back. I just think there’s no coming back.”

King revealed that she had not communicated with Duggar’s wife, Anna, but had crossed paths with the mom of seven at a funeral, last summer. The encounter came after King offered Anna a place for her and her kids to stay following Duggar’s surrender.

“That was the last time. I wasn’t really expecting to see anyone there, and I was shocked to see her. I just looked at her and I said, ‘Anna,’ and she was like, ‘I just need space.’ That’s all she said to me,” King explained.  

“I understand, I can’t speak for Anna and I’m not going to try, but I can’t imagine what she has to deal with internally, let alone out for the world to see,” she continued. “It’s heartbreaking in every direction and I just respected the fact that she needed space and I didn’t try to push any further.”

“I wanted to say a whole lot. I wanted to say tons of things, but in that moment it wasn’t obviously the right location,” King added. “It was a ceremony, a viewing actually, at a funeral, and yeah. It wasn’t the right timing and I didn’t want to make a scene and I didn’t want to do that or draw attention to anything and clearly respect her so I didn’t. But if you ask me, I think she is mad. I do. I think she’s just really, really mad.”
