Overcome with emotion, Leonard shared, “I was sexually abused by one of my trainers,” pausing before adding, “and I kept it in my heart and in my head for ten, fifteen, twenty years.” Reflecting on the pain and silence that followed, he admitted, “I don’t even know how long it’s been. I never said anything, but when I did say it, I broke down like a baby, I cried so hard, because I was hurting.”
