Tom Brady Comes to Terms with Gisele Bündchen’s Affair with Jiu-Jitsu Instructor

Tom Brady has “accepted” that his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen’s relationship with Joaquim Valente has been going on for quite some time, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

The retired NFL quarterback is reportedly adjusting to the new family dynamic after learning that his ex was “deeply in love” with her jiu-jitsu trainer, per Page Six.

“Tom has been dating and is all about growing from his relationship with Gisele and moving it to a place where they can co-parent,” an insider told the outlet.

A source told People that Bündchen and Valente’s romance didn’t start until June 2023, eight months after the model’s divorce from the superstar athlete was finalized. Brady, 46, is reportedly not buying his ex’s narrative.

“If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it, but they have been together longer and they aren’t taking it slow. Tom has accepted it,” the source told the outlet.

The insider clarified that Brady has no problem with Valente and wants to keep things amiable for the sake of the ex-couple’s children.

“Tom and Joaquim are not friends — but Joaquim is around his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and does believe he is a good guy,” the tipster alleged. “If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his kids, Tom will be able to adapt.”

The romance made headlines last week, as Bündchen and Valente were spotted smooching on Valentine’s Day in Miami.

Bündchen, 43, previously denied rumors that she and her instructor had made the jump from a friendship to a romantic relationship. She addressed the rumors in an interview with Vanity Fair, last year.

“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy,” she said in the mag’s March 2023 cover story.

The former Victoria’s Secret runway star added — “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything … I’m so grateful to know all of [the Valente brothers], because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.”

Brady has been seen out and about with model, Irina Shayk, but sources claim that the duo is not in an exclusive relationship.
