Sutton Stracke Addresses Alcohol Withdrawal Tremors During ‘RHOBH’ Reunion
Sutton Stracke set the record straight after a preview of the upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion revealed her hands shaking amid a teased medical emergency.
The sneak peek footage revealed Sutton leaning against co-star, Garcelle Beauvais, as the other women gathered around her in concern. Garcelle called for medical assistance and a paramedic rushed on set. The clip appeared to confirm that the drama went down after surprise guest, Kathy Hilton, took the reunion stage.
Instagram fan account, @therealityrundown, posted a fan question that read—“Aren’t tremors a sign of alcohol withdrawal?”
The post caught the attention of Sutton, who swiftly squashed the theory.
“That was not the problem,” she said. “Discontinue this false narrative.”
Fans took to the comment section to weigh in on Sutton’s snippy comeback, with one user writing—“[Sutton] is working overtime to ‘clearing’ this up. 🤔.”
Another person theorized — “They make it look like she panicked because [Kathy] walked in??”
A third said — “Glad she’s ok, but..it could have been gas and Sutton would make a drama out of it.”
Some viewers defended Sutton and wished the reality star well.

Sutton’s co-stars, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, addressed the boutique owner’s drinking habits in a December 2023 episode of “RHOBH After Show.” Sutton shared that she was glad that Crystal Kung Minkoff told her that Kyle and Dorit had sneakily suggested that she had a drinking problem. She added that she believed their comments to be “intentionally damaging.”
Crystal explained during a December episode — “If someone said about me that I’m that type of person to put vodka in my coffee — I felt like the implication is ‘I am an alcoholic that drinks all the time.’ I would want someone to tell me. So I could defend myself.”
Dorit claimed that she meant no harm when she told Kyle and Crystal that she would not “be surprised” if Sutton spiked her coffee with vodka.
She said — “My intention when I had said that was more of, ‘Listen, I know she is a drinker.’ She doesn’t hide the fact that she is a drinker. It was kind of like, ‘I don’t know if she’s the type that puts vodka in her coffee.’”
Kyle, who separated from husband, Mauricio Umansky, in July 2023, described filming the upcoming reunion as “torture” in a February interview with E! News.
“This was the worst torture. This reunion was — I mean they are never fun, it is the worst day of the year, honestly,” Kyle said of the reunion taping.
“This one was not only emotional, and people crying and screaming, it was also bizarre,” she added. “I mean there were moments that were so bizarre, I was just like, ‘I don’t even know.’ Very strange.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion begins Wednesday at 8 pm ET on Bravo.
